"He came from remote area of the howling mountainous Himalayan Region LO with a great determination to study prcious monastic curruculum sutra and tantra in Shar Gaden. His parents has a small feild near their small home which produces little corps for daily foods and mostly depend on it. This deity, Dorje Shugden is the same nature as Je Tsongkhapa they are the same person performing different functions. Many Dorje Shugden sadhanas state that Dorje Shugden is the embodiment of the Guru, Yidam, and Protector, where Guru refers specifically to Lama Tsongkhapa.

Thus, many cannot accept what Dalai Lama is saying about Dorje Shugden when there are so many evidence pointing to Dorje Shugden's enlightened nature.

In Tibetan Buddhism, keeping Guru samaya is most important for spiritual growth. DL gives instructions to practitioners to stop practicing a deity which has been propitiated for 300 plus years. To the point that monasteries split, families separated.

many of the monks and DS practitioners do not utter bad words against the Dalai Lama, they never criticise or retaliate against those who persecute them. That is a real practitioner. If I was an outsider and saw this, I would believe that Dorje Shugden was the "better" way simply by the way DS practitioners are so peaceful.

Zemey Tulku was not allowed into Dalai Lama's teachings but he would prostrate outside the teaching hall when the Dalai Lama was inside. Beautiful

I like Red Niece's comment about the gentleness of the monks in the monastery. When HH Dalai Lama ignored Zemey Rinpoche because of the yellow book affair, Zemey Rinpoche also never uttered a single word against Dalai Lama.

As what can be gleaned through the video, everything at Shar Gaden is following according to the tradition, from the pujas, the lineages, monastic education is according to Gaden Shartse monastery except of course the open propagation of Dorje Shugden.

It is wonderful that Dorje Shugden practitioners finally have a safe haven to pursue their practice. At the same time, their success encouraged the set up of Serpom Monastery as well. May this mark the beginning of the opening of more monasteries to openly support religious freedom and respect.

By the way, monks from Pomra Khamtsen of Sera Mey monastery were chosen as HH the Dalai Lama's personal bodyguards when he escaped from Tibet in the 1950s. And now because of the Dalai Lama's ban on Dorje Shugden, they have to now separate from Sera Mey and establish their own monastery. I hope the ban will be lifted soon so there is no segregation and harmony can prevail.

@wisdombeing what's even more inspiring is that in the light of all that is happening, none of these gentle monks retaliate against the dalai lama. They must feel so alone, betrayed and forgotten, by the very person they have so much devotion to... and yet it doesn't stop them from continuing to practice and to start anew all over again , no matter what the odds against them might be.

i saw the serpommonastery website and it's really wonderful to see the monks able to practice in peace. Dorje Shugden really brings resources to his followers to make this monastery manifest so quickly!

Shar Gaden is a great refuge for practitioners who are willing to be ostracised for their faith in the Great King Dorje Shugden. The monks here have to rely on external support because the TGIE will NOT support them, yet they are doing well because of other sponsorship and helped by DS. DS will always help us if we do our work well and keep our samaya clean.

Separated only by one wall from Gaden Monastery, I pray that one day this wall will be removed and Gaden can be once again united in their love for the lineage of Lama Tsongkhapa and its Protector.

The state protector Nechung is unable to help the Dalai Lama gain autonomy or freedom for Tibet.

The Tibetan Govt should invoke the Dorje Shugden protector, apologize and ask his help and seek his advice.

Dorje Shugden is a very powerful being that can be a great ally, friend and help to the Dalai Lama. Dalai Lama needs all the friends he can get both human and non-human.
