@dbar332 If you wish to say that you must also consider that the Jews agreed to give up about 78% of British Palestine originally promised to them, but later given to the Hashemites. Even after that in 1947 the Jews agreed to a little over half of the remaining British Palestine, mostly desert land and not Jerusalem. The Arabs did not agree. Most Arabs living here were not forced out but left and thought they would return when Israel was defeated. so the war continues....lets end it. peace!
The second student wisely said we should just end the madness and make peace even though I assume he has his reservation. god bless him. The proffeser who one would expect to be unbiased, puts the blame squarely on Israel when one can just as easily put the blame on the Pal's for making preconditions to peace talks. BTW it's not a principled stance, it's stupid because if they would sit down and talk with Israel they could end and resolve all of the problems including the settlements. sad.
Well the guy states from the very beginning he is pro Palestinian! Talk about objectivity. The implication here is that the only side that has to do anything to end the conflict. Peace needs both sides to sit down and work out the issues.
The Arabs gave up nothing, while Israel has given up Gaza, Sinai, and most of transjordan which was meant to be all part of Israel.
The only thing the Arabs have done is terrorize, start wars, and then cry that things should go back to how they were prior to their aggression and starting the wars.
Cry babies and whiners, is all they are.
If you start a war and lose, at least be humble, not cry about losing! Pathetic!
thats should be over by now
