  • boo yuck...

  • i love this song:)

  • Think if she had not died in the plane at 30 YEARS OLD! she is already a superstar and legend what would have been if she had not died?

  • what is the instrument is the guy playing at 1.25?

  • @ryanssun789 Steel Guitar

  • @ryanssun789 PEDAL Steel Guitar

  • nope...not as good as Lorettta Lynn.

  • less than 2 weeks before her death, this was taped. Patsy Cline's music lives on in generation after generation. Oh..what might have been.

  • What a heartbreaking song so sad. Another tragic loss of an amazing talent

  • I ONCE WAS TOLD BY AN OLDER MAN THAT PATSY SANG LIKE SHE WAS HAVING AN ORGASM! Just a bit too descriptive for me! I never yodeled during thise momentsts! HA!

  • im 15 someone says Jay Z i say wtf

i say patsy cline they say ????

they say justin beiber i say elvis

they say hop i say only the best of oldies :3

  • 50s music--awesome

    60s music--awesome 70s music--awesome

    80s music--awesome

    90s music--awesome

    00s music-- Uh...

Man, remember when people actually used to sing?! When their voices weren't just a bunch of cg sounds and when they actually had real instruments and not techno beats in songs?! Ha, neither do I! I was born too late. 1997 was just about when all music started slowly diminishing in quality. That's why I love older music. Because it actually has meaning ^^

  • @XxTheStealthyClownxX Nope, you just remember the bad stuff from the 00s. All of those eras had terrible music too, they were just forgotten as the years went by. The awful stuff from our decade will be forgotten one day, and people will look back and think what a great decade for music it was.

  • Johnny Cash treated her well after he got off the booze ...my family LOVE them both very much and yes we really agree to ZOMGITSANT .....ADELE does give you that funny weird feeling, amazing voice for sure ...we have all her music !

  • this was before her car accident..you can see from her forehead. this talented woman had been through so much already! She's missed!!!

  • @ajhiort It's actually after, this is '63 and the accident was in '61. She has healed and you can see the scars above the bridge of her nose.

  • i love this song:)

  • Rap is not garbage, the "key" its in is called "beats" (think drums) and if u have limited rhythm then its hard to keep up

  • Does anyone know if this was the same show that she performed San Antonio Rose on? there's a video on here of her performing. it's definitely from around the same time, not sure exactly when though.

  • Grew up with her on the AM radio, this is a one of a kind voice and a once in a life time talent. Leann Rimes has very similar voice quality.

  • Thanks to whoever posted this, It's good to see /hear Patsy live, she carries this favourite PC song of mine so beautifully. Sadly missed. A voice from heaven singing on earth.

  • This song remind me of my dead mum, she played this a lot. love this song coz it will keep my memory of my mum alive.

  • Just love her! May Patsy Cline live on forever and ever!

  • Genius...beautiful..... and just ten days later she was gone.. What a loss to the world and a gain for heaven. Patsy Cline will still be listened to 100 years from now.

  • She delivers this - and all her songs - with such Authority, and Authenticity!

  • What a beautiful lady, and greatly missed!

  • Goodness I love this song

  • 39 dislikes?!!? How did all those Taylor Swift fans get in here???

  • There are two types of people those who love country music and those who are dishonest

  • no autotune needed ...thank god

  • Hear how she sustains every note with perfect pitch, letting them fade off beautifully.... No tricks or gimmicks... A pure, honest performance.

  • @caryd67 It hard to find that can of talent these days.

  • There'll NEVER be another Patsy Cline!!!

  • Ms Cline........greatness!!!!!!! ach1n2

  • im black and i love this song........

  • If this is February 23rd, 1963, then this woman had about two weeks to live.

  • @rasputin63 yep around 10 days to be exact. sad to think.

  • Great PC in 1963 - and PC nowadays - personal computer - I love Patsy !

  • Patsy Cline was amazing.

  • Greatest female singer ever.

  • A grand and classy lady

  • I'm a 21-year-old male and Patsy is one of my favorite voices of all-time. I have her on my iPod. Most people around my age make fun of me, but that's because they have no taste in REAL music or talent. Adele is the only current artist out there who gives me a similar feeling to Patsy's voice, but no one will ever match Patsy completely. She was one of a kind.

  • @zomgitsant

Can you even call todays music.. music?

  • @zomgitsant Good for you..It's hard to find a voice and emotion like hers today!

  • @zomgitsant I'm 20 and these were my lullabies when I was younger :) They're also the songs i sing in the shower lol

  • @zomgitsant You should check out Dusty Springfield. She was fantastic

  • @zomgitsant Adele? Really? That makes Patsy less talented to people like us that know good music. Adele sounds like a scratchy record. Long Live Good music. Long live Patsy Cline.

  • @zomgitsant dont feel bad I get made fun of too because I am black and I love Patsy's voice, most of my friends dont even know who she is and I agree with you on the Adele thing because she is one of the best voices out!!

  • @zomgitsant lovley song and artist u enjoy x

  • @zomgitsant I agree with you Zomgitsant. It puts me in a different era just listening to Pasty. My mother passed away in March of 2010. I inherited many of her older records. I must tell you it all makes sense that she kept these records for all this time. I am sure it brought her back to her 20's easily. I feel like a youngster when listening to Patsy.

  • @zomgitsant Your "friends" are ignorant. You are not. It's good to know that young people like you are appreciative of pure music. Rap is garbage; I'm not sure what key rap is in.

  • @zomgitsant I just discovered her music and each time I hear one of her songs I fall in love with her even more. I'm 23 myself. Don't feel bad at all!

  • @zomgitsant You have an excellent ear for good music...Continue exploring the best of music and simply let your friend's comments roll right off of your back...Find other common ground with your friends and enjoy these incredible artists from long ago.

  • still sounds great after nearly 40yrs

  • Good ol America. She's sick right now but were coming back.

  • I LOVE YOU PATSY ! In the close up you can see the scars that she had after an auto accident even though she has makeup on, this just goes to show what a determined lady Patsy was by not letting that get in her way. Jessica Lange did a wonderful job in the movie,"Sweet Dreams" about Patsy's life. Rest In Peace Dear Heart !

  • Wow this was filmed just 10 days before her tragic death In a Airplane Crash over Camdem, Tennessee on March 5th 1963 along with her manager Randy Hugh's Cowboy Copos oh how sad to lose Patsy so young!!

  • @MagicGary1960 And I cant forget Hawkshaw Hawkins? If I spelt his name correct!!

  • The eyebrows just kill me.

  • I love and miss you Patsy, you are gone but never forgotten .God must have needed you in Heaven

  • About 30 years ago I was in a noisy bar on the Chesapeake Bay and played IFTP on the juke. The place went silent as everybody in the place got choked up about the ex in their lives

that walks by and makes them fall to pieces.Few singers can have that effect.

  • Such an amazing voice. Love Patsy. Don't make songs like this anymore. It's sad really.

  • I have always loved Patsy!!!! This has to be one of her best ever!

  • A legend!!!!

  • Thank you sweetthing for sharing this one my friend!! Lot of folks have sung this one, But Patsy owns it in my opinion!!--Lee

  • @ latellin I agree! These 36 are obviously so brainwashed by the junk that's considered music today that they don't understand what it really is. Too bad they'll never know and never realize what they're missing.

  • she makes me cry died way to young

  • THANK YOU PATSY....

  • a wonderful unique singer and person never to be forgotten

  • 36 people must be stupid!!!!!! THIS IS MUSIC!

  • Well doc it's like this..I think Im falling in love with Patsy

  • Love all of her song timeless

  • im 14 and this is my favourite song

  • Of of the greatest voices EVER in my humble opinion :-)

  • Would someone please help me to identify the instrument that is being played with the fingers? I love Patsy Cline too. Her voice is almost operatic They say that music is universal, l agree. I grew up to appreciate Country music. I'm a 50+ black lady :}

    =

  • @cookietwosweet I'm a huge fan of Patsy Cline. You may be referring to the pedal steel guitar? Played while sitting. It's that great instrument that gives country music such a distinctive quality. I love it!

  • @cookietwosweet mickeydtexaspeg is right. that is the steel guitar. Patsy had some of the best musicians in Nashville backing her...

  • You can tell that she really means those words, she has suffered.

  • I have always love Patsy Cline, but today watching this, I realized how beautiful this lady was. That smile, those eyes. Stunning. That a one of the best voices in history.

  • Patsy is amazing!!

  • It still makes me cry after all these years. And why do all the good singers die in plane crashes?

  • @ScooterZn Because they are not as good at picking flights as they are at singing? Just a guess on my part.

  • I love Patsy Cline and i have covered this and "When I Get Through With You" on piano. Please watch them and comment. I would love some comments from real country lovers :D

    R.I.P Patsy x

  • is it just me or did she sound, look, and act classy?

  • @brack288 No, it's not you she was a classy lady!

  • shes amazingggg!!

  • grew up with her music what a tragic end. still love her music she and kitty wells made the path for women in country music today. they the new ones are not as good but these two paved the way

  • I want to cry just from listening to this, amazingly beautiful.

  • When I was watching this vidio of Patsy Cline (I fall to peices ) God I really felt her pain, It made me cry.

  • she was an amazing LADY

  • Amazing song! Really, I fall to pieces everytime I think of my mahal.

  • lady gaga patsey cline wow .i fall to pices ur right u cant put them in the same sentence.

  • she is amazing I listened to her growing up..so underrated..

  • another beautiful masterpiece !

  • Country Music Royalty...plain and simply the best female voice of country music!

  • She died when i was 2 years old. How i wish I could have seen her in concert. Simply the greatest femaqle singer in the history of recorded music.

  • She was just great, great, great.

  • Doesn't Patsy Live This Song!

What such a devastating loss When She died.

  • Once I hit 50, and suffered some injuries that never completely heal, this song took on a whole new meaning!! ;o(

  • good song, i also like the cover by aaron neville and trisha yearwood

  • robin guthrie from the cocteau twins said she would be the only one to replace the god like liz fraser some compliment.

  • i wish i could sing like patsy cline!!!

  • I've been in love with this lady for fifty years. Absolutely, and hands down, the best female voice to ever hit Planet Earth. RIP my darling Patsy. And no she did not die from any overdose. She was killed in a horrible plane crash on March 5th 1963. Every female voice that came on the scene after her passing was compared to Ms Patsy and was what all recording engineers were always asking, " how close to Patsy Cline does she sound ?"

  • My mom loved PC, when I was a child I laughed at this. Now I love Patsy. Thanks Mom for turning me on to her

RIP to PC and My Mom

  • @Marramarzzz I am in the same wonderful boat. :*)))) Parents know things that eventually we finally understand.

  • @Marramarzzz me too !

  • @Marramarzzz yea my dad used to be a big fan of hers too. when he died, i got his old truck and the radio was somehow locked on the oldies station.

  • Are they short on choir members upstairs, why do the good ones have to leave us so early?

  • @adoreslaurel your god got tired of fucking Monroe for a year

  • @FrostMan92 My God? which one do you have? you must know the dates of earthly departures better than I do.but lets all keep her memory alive.

  • @adoreslaurel i was thinking the same thing

  • @mscaptainmorgen O well,we can still enjoy her music, as distinct from those performers before recording became possible who are no longer with us.

  • Great music!!

  • listening to voice like this who needs narcotics it is the sweetst and most soul nourishing voice ever she doesnt touch your heart only but goes deep down to the bottom of your soul i always listen to her with tear in my eyes and lump in my throat whats more rewarding when you see that very young do have soul as i have thougt was lost in materialism people like patsy cline are only for short time with us to give us a taste of haven for ever and im not religious but spiritual yes

  • This was EIGHT days before she died! Seriously, look it up.

  • @67rml

She looked good for being on the verge of death. She died of OD right?

  • @agod2025

Patsy died in a horrific plane crash

  • @agod2025 no, it was a plane crash.

  • Lady Gaga is a bitch.

    Patsy Cline is a goddess.

  • rest in peace Patsy, you will always be loved

  • No girl singer (before or since) will ever be as great as her

  • What an angel and star....and stars dont't fall from the sky!

  • Any one can sing her songs. But, for me there will never be anyone as good as Patsy Cline was. We need to keep those country artist that were and still are the great Country music ever produced.

  • Just sitting back with good memories of my Grandfather Samuel Ralph " Grandbo" Hemphill. This was one of his favorites.

  • This lady is my all time idol, a beautiful voice and lady, you can see her car accident scars and she is still a knock out. She is the ONLY artist I can listen to and tear up almost every time, she like all of us, had good times and bad but was amazing at the beautiful longing she could put in her songs always. I love you Patsy.

  • patsy is one of few artist that voice could sing country, blues, jazz RnB, soul..just anything she wanted to RIP Queen

  • This is my song. Miss Patsy Cline. Thank you.

  • What a voice, what a song, absolutely love this song and Patsy Cline.

  • @TheLenslink yes asome

  • It was another time, they just don't make 'em like her anymore. You listen to the original recording from '61 on Showcase... it's the voice, it just pulls you in. I work at a general aviation airport... whenever I see an old Piper Comanche, I think of that tragic crash... damn she was only 30.

  • Beautiful.

  • I think its pretty awesome that noone in this world has a beautiful voice like her!

  • I love this woman..extreme talent and incredible image! Seems like she is singing to you personally. Wish she never got on that plane.

  • A very respectable woman.

  • That plane crash was a conspiracy.

  • Patsy Cline is drop-dead sexy and gorgeous. And I mean that in a sincere and respectful way. She's the type of woman you'd want to be married to because you know you'd be in love with her every day of your life.

She would be (and was) a wonderful mother.

When God created woman He Patsy Cline in mind.

I wish there were more women like her today.

    (Sigh)

  • WOWWWW!!!! I'm lost for words....thank you. It's music of this caliber that makes me wish I was born in the 50s/60s. I truly think I was born in the wrong era..ughh!!

  • I love her......damn she is sweet

  • I ALWAYS HAVE TIME TO LISTEN TO THE INCREDIBLE "PATSY CLINE"! DID YOU KNOW THAT "SHE" WAS A COLLECTOR OF SALT AND PEPPER SHAKERS. THANKS FOR THE MEMORIES AND THE FUN,TOM D. BRICK,NJ. {AT THE SHORE}.

  • She is the greatest!

  • I remember when she use too come on the Grand Ole Opry Show on Saturday night.

  • beautiful woman and song. thank you for posting this.

  • 32 dislikes? 32 people have had their sense of taste fall to pieces.

  • Rumor has it that Lady Gaga paid one million dollars to have frozen DNA of Patsy Cline injected into her vocal cords.

  • @dlang2000 Thats a dumb rumor....injecting DNA doesnt effect the physical structure or therefore the quality of a persons voice. People want to sound smart but obviously didnt pay attention in science class. lol

  • @dlang2000 Which would basically immediately attacked by phagocytes and walled off as a foreign body.

  • @dlang2000 Which would basically immediately attacked by phagocytes and walled off as a foreign body.

  • I wonder if this was Patsy's last television appearance before she died in the plane crash the following month? I can listen to Patsy Cline anytime, no matter what my mood is. I can't say that about anyone else. Many have tried to imitate her, and all have failed. There's only 1 original, and her name is, Virginia P. Hensley.....professionally known as, Patsy Cline.

  • The woman had an amazingly beautiful voice. Just saw a play called Always, Patsy Cline. It made me want to take out my old CD. Another great talent lost too soon.

  • pfft lady gaga doesn't even slightly compair to patsy cline

  • I Fall To Dell PCS "15

  • 32 people are retarded...

  • Makes me want to move to Nashville and forever wear a cowboy hat.

  • I from ALGERIA and i4m fan of Patsy Cline

  • who hasnt felt like this...

  • you are 100% right

  • NEVER mention lady gaga in the same breath with the great Patsy Cline. NEVER!

  • @Ultrabrut1 You mean lady gag me.

  • @Ultrabrut1

Loretta Lynn MIGHT be the only name to be in the same breath as Patsy..MAYBE but I'd probably grab my biggest kitchen knife if anyone mentioned that attention whore meat wearing slut in the same breath

  • @TrishaDishaWarEagle What is wrong with Loretta Lynn

  • @robert50700

Nothing, I love Mrs. Lynn, the comment was a compliment to her ..by attention whore meat wearing slut, I meant someone else who's name is not even worth mentioning

  • @Ultrabrut1 I totally agree, they should never be placed in the same sentence ever! I love Lady Gaga put to compare her to the great amazing Patsy Cline is a disgrace to the memory of Pasty and her talent.

  • the only thing that can outdo the perfect swing of the backing band and flawless steel guitar is this incredible VOICE......this cant be recreated folks

  • This is such a great song ,i love a great song sung by a great artist.

  • aaawwww..........you tell 'em, Patsy

  • aaawwww..........you tell 'em, Patey

  • Lady Gaga ??? what are you taking about ??? some one you will never sing live in a mono mike with no voice synthesizer other than showing off her boobs Lady Gaga has no talent ...Next thing some one well say Britney Spears can sing

  • @MrMagoo925 im sorry i agree this woman can sing, but gaga always sings live, her voice isnt synthesized at all except some on her first record which was with a stupid record label, look up live piano edge of glory she is very talented your misinformed shes a genious as is patsy and the two should never be compared bc they are too different about both amazing so dont be an asshole bc its not your taste

  • and no one ever will she was one of a kind.............i should know!!!!!! she was the best and will continue to be for ever more. Debbie Cline-Yoak
