I LOVEEEE this hair. Ive had mine in for almost 2 months now and when it does shed its like a few strands.. nothing major at ALL.. and it BARELY tangles.. I have a 16" and a 12" . I dont put any products in the weave.. Its still silky and really pretty and I noticed after you wash it, it looks better. It doesnt frizz up either.. This is really good hair and its worth the price. But if i had to rate it id give it a 9.
@missapplepiealamode Yeah, but usually it's that fusion method right? Every now and then you see a sew-in, but very seldom is it bonded with weave glue. Needless to say, no one noticed which was the goal anyway.
@MilaniaAmazin what kind was it indi remi or regular bobbi boss. was it yaki or ocean wave??? I have ocean wave in again and it never tangles it's so soft and beautiful
Your hair looks GREAT!!!! It looks very natural and healthy!!!! oh, dem white girls should know about weave they wear weave too....my sister has been a stylist for over 30 years yeah...30 and she has always done caucasian hair and they have always worn extension/weave/wigs...people kill me like we/black women are the only ones looking to add hair....and yes people, we do and can have long hair....we spend billions each year but we are not alone....Peace....Great Hair!!!!
At this point I am ready to relax my hair its been since 4/19/11 and I guess I am addicted again. I did do natural for 10 plus years put I feel like a crack head craving a hit at this point with the leave out areas. I decided to take the BB out this weekend. I appreciate the encouragement to rant about my experience but I will save my video debut for when I get the hair of my dreams. I am still on the hunt. I almost passed out over the cost for sassy mitchell today but its gorgeous!!
@sndvl9702 I've never heard of Sassy Mitchell until today, but I just checked out that website and grew a little faint myself. The hair does look beautiful like you said. My wallet is screaming at me to stick to the BSS brands until I can afford the good stuff, so I think that's what I'll do lol.
@sndvl9702 I was completely natural from March 2010 to July 2010. I tried to work with my natural texture (4b/4c in the middle) by doing braid outs and twists but it was so thick that it took hours for me to put the braids in. I opted to relax it and take care of it in that state instead. Call me a punk if you want, I just didn't have the time! I relax every 3 months or so, still retaining length over this year. I'd love to see your experience with BB. You should post a vid to warn others lol.
You described my experience to the T! The crazy part is I had no idea it was going to happen it just started to turn into a monster. Thank the Lord for youtube because I was about to go crazy! I probably have another 2 weeks I can get out of this install but I am done and never looking back on BB Indi Remi or the person who installed it!
I am not a fan of this hair I currently have it installed. It looks beautiful on you despite I know all too well the nightmare tangles you describe! Love the video!
@sndvl9702 Yes, girl! I don't know how other people who review this hair manage to keep it in as long as they do. At the end, I could barely move throughout the day and still have to brush the hair every few hours to make sure it still looked decent. I don't know if my (or our) standards are just that high, but after I took it out, I really couldn't understand the hype around this hair. = /
@prettypea713 It depends on how you do it really. A faux highlighted look is going to be your best bet, similiar to what I talk about in this video (I start explaining at point 3:40). If your hair is the same length as the weave you're installing, it's much easier to blend. Take a look at my video "Adding Highlights to Relaxed Hair with Weave" to see what I mean. I know I don't want to dye my hair at this point because I know I'm not going to take care of it correctly, you know? = /
@corsicajoakim Wow. This is an example of compliment that was better left unsaid. Or maybe a compliment that would have been better rephrased. I'm sure you realize the backhandedness of it, since you even went so far as to capitalize the insulting portion of it and added a smiley face at the end. I don't think that was necessary, but obviously you felt compelled to let me know. Thank you for taking the time to watch. Be blessed.
@lesagatson21 Yeah i apologize i could have been said in a better way..:( i still think your a very beautiful women and your hair was awesome sorry about the earlier comment :/
YOU ARE SO GORGEOUS AND YOU look great with light color but did you notice that the #4 was getting more tangled than your 1B or acting up more since its more processed
@CriscianaLovely Thank you! I knew that the colored hair was going to act up faster than the Indi Remi, so what I did was change out the colored tracks every 2 weeks. In this vid, I had the colored hair in for a week. The Indi Remi was starting to act up at this point though, especially around the nape of my neck. I think part of the reason I wouldn't go for this hair again is because I figured that I could spend the extra money for virgin Indian hair and have it last much longer, you know?
@lesagatson21 i want virgin hair too but im on a budget now and this hair is really cheap online, i can get a 14' for $72, 18" for like $82 on hairsavebig. you must of paid A LOT lol! throughout your videos you said you went to the store to get a new pack but im just wishing this hair doesnt get more Yaky looking the older it gets cuz my hair is shiny & a cross between the fine silky and the natural yaky and the bobbi boss yaky is actually silky looking. did the hair get more yakish to you?
@CriscianaLovely Yeah I did pay a lot! Lol. But the Premium Yaky does get more "yaky" looking the older it gets. That's why I would trade it out every two weeks so that the textures still matched. Right out of the package though, it has the same body and softness as the Indi Remi. The Indi Remi kept it's silkiness over the 7 weeks, it just got too tangled for me. This was just my experience though, some people can keep it in and looking good for much longer.
i love the color. how much of the #4 hair did u put in the front? i also glue my leave-out as well... so did u just glue the #4 in OR did u sew in some of the #4 hair.. thanks
@Truebeauty189 Thank you! I used a little under a half of the pack of the Bobbi Boss Premium Yaky #4. There was maybe 4 to 6 inches of weft left over. The colored hair is completely glued in and I have the 1b Indi Remi sewn in at the bottom. Hope this helps!
@ispencer21 I guess my fear with just putting in conditioner is that it would weigh it down too much and it wouldn't have the body that it does when it's freshly washed, lightly conditioned, blow dried, and flat ironed. Before I try doing that, I'd like to know what is the difference exactly? And what conditioner would you recommend?
@shanunie Thanks for the advice. I thought about sealing them but I was so excited to get the sew-in and was too impatient to take the extra step. So you're saying that when you do that with Bobbi Boss, it noticeably takes down the shedding?
Oh em gee!!! What color is this???

I don't know why the white girls couldn't tell because they go hard with the weaves too.

I meant to ask are you relaxing your hair or transitioning to natural? Most of the video's on hair reviews the women seem to be transitioning.
