I love the mkIV's but they are over priced and over-rated.  I'd much rather go with an earlier model supra such as the one in the vid (MKIII) and either put in a 1JZ for the high end power or 2JZ for low end power/torque. I've also seen and read about people building up the 7MGTE with outstanding power (that would be a third route to go too).

Depends on if it is turboed, NA, upgraded, body condition. I'd sell my running 2jzna-t setup in my mkiii for close to or over $10K. You can pick up a rod-knocked NA or Turbo mkiii Supra for $800 to $3K+, but it will need to be rebuilt.
