  • miss your elegant work and graceful yet witty charm... a true masteract...

  • ok that is just impossible iam impressed :D still like wtf how on earth.

  • It's a version of nut to egg but with a bird Im still like wtf

  • Houdini believed that magic was an art. Tommy Dreamer was an artist.

  • @Hardeen31 Who is is Tommy Dreamer??

  • @Hardeen31 lol isn't he a WWE wrestler???

  • Please, which is the name of the song?

  • how can they just clap at that??? im watching the video and im screaming WHAT THE FUCK!

  • The weird thing is that he wasn't even that known in the netherlands even though he was born there.

  • What a legend!

    ~Smoothini the Ghetto Houdini

  • Yeah, I think it's from 'Now that's what I call cheese' 3.

  • the great thing about Tommy Wonder is that he was never pretentious, never required huge fireballs or half-naked assistants to hide his work, he engaged his audiences with an intimate feeling without smoke and mirrors

  • Incredible! Tommy was for sure one of the 5 best magicians ever. A little question, anyone know the name of the song?

  • makes me keep the childhood belief that some people really ARE in fact magic (-;

what a tremendous loss for the world of magic/performing arts....a LEGEND!!

    RIP Tommy

  • Isn't that wonderful.

  • you're watching the man right here.

    excellent.

  • too good !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1111

  • wonderful piece of magic, it's like in a dream,R.I.P Mr.Wonder

  • Tommy was brilliant...he had a complete an entertaining vision for his act..never performing just a series of tricks.

    This is real magic...

  • what a fantastic act!!!!!!!!

  • Tommy Wonder is simply the archetype of The Magician. Well atleast in my humble opinion. He was just so elegant and cool, yet slightly odd and interesting.

  • he died?

  • Sadly, yes. We lost Tommy to cancer in 2006. A huge loss to magic .

  • When and where will the World Magic Awards 2008 be ?

  • The Orange, Lemon, Egg has it's roots WAY back.. Richiardi Jr. made it famous again in the 50's, 60's and up until his passing in the 80's. His father (a once touring ventriloquist) also did it. Robert Houdin made reference to an effect similar to it, and effects almost identical (the method)are mentioned in a few old books (I think it was Hermann?) from the 1890's.

  • I really think that this guy would be the next in line for the Royal Dynasty if Lance Burton wasn't selected.

  • Penn and Reller? Mack King? David Copperfield? how can we call any of them magicians after watching Tommy Wonder?

Good Fortune .....and Good Luck To All

  • They are all magicians... they are just not in Tommy Wonder's league. And I believe most of them would acknowledge that. (Teller would, not so certain about Penn!)

  • Who really is in Tommy Wonder's league? I would say Dai Vernon.

  • Yeah, I feel you. I mean, if you watch the videos of my performances you can tell that I have nothing similar to Tommy Wonder. It just isn't my style. But wow, you just got to admire the man. He is just so elegant and smooth with it. Just like magic should be.

For the type of person that he is, and protrays..... that is what a magician should be. Me on the other hand, am not a European gentleman. So I need to act more my age and more my generation. So I do the whole "hood" thing.

  • hahah I'm forced into the hood thing too unfortunately

But there are some great effects around that compliment the style

  • was this guy useing a topit? or something else? if anyone knows please send me a message.

  • Just purchase Tommy Wonder's Books of Wonder. Explains all in there.

  • The Willam Defoe of the magic world!

  • This is my video lol, I'm 99% sure I ripped this like 2 years ago, does 'filetopia' mean anything to you?

If not I would love to know where you got this from, I'm not angry or anything lol, just curious...

  • His zombie is great. The float looks perfect! Ive got a lot of work to do!

  • Criss Angel also did a similar routine on his show Mindfreak.

  • Yeah, and he got it from this guy. Rest in Peace Tommy!

  • Well, its debatable if he got it from this guy, the actual routine comes from a play called Orange, Lemon, Egg Canary.

  • true....true...true.. But I might be wrong when I say that Tommy Wonder made the routine famous. I will need to look more into it. Not quite sure. Max Maven will know.

  • In a way you are correct that Tommy Wonder made the routine famous, however the play was and still a hit... Tommy Wonder made it famous as a seperate entity from the theatre. However the play is about a magician. Orange Egg Lemon Egg canary brings magic into the realm of theatre, Tommy wonders brings theatre into the realm of magic. He seems to have known how to do this with the majority of his acts. Many famous magicians source as him as one of their major inspirations.

  • Real Master

  • He's not a zombie. Well, suppose he is now!

  • Awsome.

It's one of the best routines of all time.

Humourous, elegant, and clear clean magic.

  • nice zombie

  • 'nice' zombie? It's the BEST zombie :)

  • Smooth magic, nice music, a gentleman, so this is the legendary Tommy Wonders. now I know what he looks like lol.

  • I have no words. Just beautiful, and I am grateful to have been able to see him present this act live. His books are a must - they do set the bar very high for magical artistry.

  • Does any1 know the name of the song that's playin in the background of Tommy's act?

  • That's song so anti-climatic and annoying!

  • Simply the best! Thank you sir! Incredible class, skill, and mastery of the audience!

    Simply the best!

    Thank You!

  • tommy wonder

    true master of master

  • man!!! when did he die?? i ordered a special gimmick coin from him and i mailed with himself and talked to him.. he also was on a magic congress where a good friend of mine met him and this was about two years ago.. noway!!! (well, the packet with the coin smelled "a little bit" like cigarette smoke.. im NOT kidding!! but i would have never thought, that he would die that fast!!!! oh, man. i'm shocked now, 'cause i loved/still love his art his performing style and his contribution to magic..

this guys trick is identical to tommys its amazin!

  • Give me a brake!

  • The best!

  • Tommy Wonder is the best . This is magic as Art .

  • whoa, that's so cool o.o

  • Tommy Wonder died from lungcancer

He was smoking a whole lot.

I Only saw one palming in the video now matter how many times I looked.

He had to have some kind Z-table or trapdoors in the cups.

  • Z-table?? Hahahaha. Just manipulation. No trapdoors in the cups and balls trick.

  • Strange that he didn´t win the gold medal with this routine then.

Everyone from Dai Vernon to Michael Ammar did it less clean then this guy.

  • Perhaps the single cleverest magician of all time. We'll all miss him!

  • You was my hero, with my admiration

  • wat happen to him?

  • Lung cancer. Very sad.

  • He was my inspiration, my idol, and my hero; I will never forget him. He was a great man, a brilliant thinker, and the best damn magician this world has ever seen. Tommy might have died, but his spirit, influence and legend will live on forever in the hearts of those that love him. I will miss him always.

    -Walter Zelhofer

  • Wonder was perfect as always, and he will be dearly missed, but that has to have been some of the absolute WORST editing I have ever seen, especially for a magic performance.

  • That music by god!

  • Astonishing, artistic, unbelivable, understandable. Tommy Wonder's close up and stage magic was all of these and more. His magic was PERFECT! Every magician in the world should feel very sad right now, as we have lost the greatest. His magic was beautiful. R.I.P

  • he is the best

  • Mr Wonder is an inspiration.

I felt really lost for his departure and is deeply saddened. It is really a sad thing that Mr Wonder would never be seen live anymore, but can only be seen in Dvds.

Lets all hope that he find peace after life.

  • RIP To one of the greats of the art.

  • wonderful!

    tommy, you will be missed

  • We'll miss you forever, Tommy!
