  • i'm eading this book in english its by todd strasser and its REALLY good i WUFF IT!! lol -_-

  • We read the book in english (written by Morton Rhue) and its very deep, this seems quite interesting xx 

  • hd???

  • 240p not hd -.-

  • Is this a remake of the 1981 movie with the same title? Although that movie is said to be about an experiment in 1967. Is this a different school where the experiment was repeated two years later?

  • @KingNetherdrake As I understand it, it is almost an exact remake with the only exception being it takes place in a German setting with German characters, instead of California. Otherwise, from the descriptions I've read, it has the exact same plot as the '81 movie.

  • i dont get it, what exactly happened at 1969 in california?

  • I thought things presented to the sundance had to be original... this is a remake.

  • Second best german film I ever seen. I'm looknig forward to see his new vampire film when it comes put in Sweden.

  • LAWL

  • an incredible movie.

  • @storm61 is a zionist movie!

  • This was released 2008...

  • Anyone want to be part of a new wave?

  • Ah man we're watching the old version of this movie in history and it is SO STUPID. I wish we were watching this remake...

  • @hthekingofblargh

We watched this version in my history class (I was the only person who saw the original). We skipped over large portions of it because we didn't have enough time to watch it all, so our teacher just showed us enough for us to get the basic concept of it. From what I saw it is A LOT better than the original.

  • EdibleartBella:

It took place in Florida, but the movie is in Germany. Though I bet you can get it in english language.

  • @WolfytheWolf5667 Didn't this happen in California in 1969?

  • @ShakableSwine yea it did, idk where the heck wolfy got tht info but i read the book and researched the real events and it was in Palo Alto

  • @mickie825 He/She must've got confused with something else. I read up on another teacher doing a very similiar "experiment" down in Florida with even younger students.

  • @ShakableSwine yea i looked into it and apparently they tried to recreate it with younger kids in florida a while back

  • @mickie825

    Success/Fail?

  • @LolAtDeadPeople '69 I'm reading the book

  • @ShakableSwine

probably. Sorry for not replying, but anyway:

The Wave is PATHETIC. They're Pro-nazis.

As we all know, Nazism does not work. The students would have been slaughtered by the Polizi for supporting such methods.

And then we could all rest in peace, knowing such...insane weirdo's were behind bars.

  • @WolfytheWolf5667 this is a german remake of a US film debut from 1981 - Based on the real experience of a high school class in Palo Alto, CA in April 1967, it demonstrates how groups of people can be manipulated

  • Oh My God! I read that book in school this year. Totally changed my life. Now, is the whole movie in German? I would love to know. Also, is it available on Dvd in the US?

  • I saw this movie with my class a couple of days ago, and it was awesome!! It really shows what lonely and confused people can do, when they get involved in something big(Tim)!

  • the actual movie to the book is The Wave (1981)

  • this book is awesome

  • its insane but cool

  • woah todd strasser came to my school today to talk to us. i didnt realize his book was a movie. this movie looks insane!

  • it's much less violent and insane than it's shown in the trailer...

    but it's a nice movie, i think...
