  • I use garlic now. Boil it in water.

Let it cool off at some water to weaken it a bit spray it under de plant leafs only once or twice a week. Only in veg Because you dont want your nugs to smell like garlic. Or you can say it is a new strain Sour Garlic ha ha

  • Mine weren't on this kind of plant. But I lost half my house plants to mites this last summer. Came home to a tented out plant 6-8 times. I tried everything including this soap so spoken of. With very little success at full eradication (they kept coming back). Then I found Mighty wash, (spelled like Mighty mouse, not Mitey like mites). This stuff is supposed to be frequency adjusted water. Killed them ALL dead! NO MITES in my house ANY more. Chemical free too! Hope it helps out!

  • Safers brand house plant spray for those of you indoor basement gardeners.

  • I hate the fucking Borg!

  • Neem oil for the win.

  • is it just me or does it sound like a drum roll in the background? lol

  • flora mite sc in veg is the best solution. pick off as many leaves off the plant as possible without killing it. then treat whats left with the flora mite sc 3 times(sometimes a few more) fives days apart each time. the mites will go away and the new growth will show no signs. Good Luck!

  • fuck mites mold and mildew! why dont they bother some other plant? cuz there not stupid, there here to PARTAAAAAY! The warmer it is the more mites F@#* and multiply, the colder and darker the more the molds and mildew take over.

  • Found A Book called Organic Plant Protection, copyright 1976 by Rodale Press, Inc.

    Ninth Printing - April, 1978

Found information on mites, and an Organic way to handle them.

    Here is the easy receipe:

Mix buttermilk, water and flour into a thin soup, put in sprayer and spray, I did this for 3 days, then sprayed with clear water. Soup clings to mites, causing their mouths to glue shut, most explode. Egg sacs will hatch - so be sure to do another spray 3 to 4 days later. No harm to plants.

  • @rexntazor The old school Rodale books kick ass!

I have the book Titled " How to Grow Fruits and Vegtables by the Organic Method"

    Thirteenth Printing -February 1977

It is over 900 pages, and the most complete organic gardening book I have ever seen!

It even has a bunch of info on using rock dusts, a tecnique considered to be new these days

By the way, anyone watching, if you have spider mites....YOUR DOING IT WRONG!

Happy organic plants simply will not allow pests to thrive!

  • is spider mite infested weed worth anything

  • power wash works Great

  • i fucking hate them showing up now, just when im about to harvest but will this damage my shit during drying or will they loose interest once my shit is more dry ?

  • Another alternative is to grow fast growing strains so that mites will not grow too fast out of control before the plant finishes flowering.

  • At this stage of the plant's growth it probably is advisable not to do anything as 'treatment' might ruin the quality of the bud. Intensive mite control is best when the plant is in its vegetative stage, when heavy bud formation has not yet come and the plant can handle some manhandling. Grower should keep his growing room humid by spraying daily with plain water and attempt to fruit his harvest as fast as possible while gently combing off any webbing. Spider mites are harmless to smoke.

  • Best thing is to make a bath for your plants with neem or insect soap submerge the entire plant in the solution. trim plants if you need to, remove lower branches thin out. Watch out though and shake off lightly and get supports ready, the plants will bend over due to weight. Also wash soil with neem or insect soap. Spray around the house or wherever with good pest control. Keep grow area clean and wipe down with neem oil to get the fuckers that crawl in.

  • Spray with safers soap once a week.... it is a hassle but kills most all the mites if you stay on it.

  • use some pray mantis they work out really well aswell as lady bugs both thoese insects eat spidermites and they don't leave any marks on you're plants its like they were never there but if yo dont want to use bugs just go to you're local growing shop and get some chemical to put all over you're buds i do not suggest using any chemical on dope plants i keep mine all natural not even any fert

  • @rotalunatik hey smart guy ,, I want to see your footage of spider mites being eaten by praying mantis hatchlings ... why dont you stop telling people bullshit ,., the noobies might actually believe your bullshit...

  • @guahould i don't have footage like that because i don't let it get to the stage where my plant is infested with them

now stop acting like u know everything and writing bullshit ur making urself look like more of a muppet...

  • any reason not to use power wash? seems to work great

  • use seven bug killer i used the powder cause i was hoping less would soak into plant tht way ,

i did try soak soulotion didnt work tht good they keep coming back

  • Floramide

  • kill the mites!!!!!!

  • Wash your plants with a hose

  • gotta get floramite if u have problems w mites.. its a must have product IMO

  • Wow only seen pictures of them before, that fucking disgusting. Going to be even more diligent in my garden after seeing those gross fuckers in action raping our beautiful plants!

  • smc gets rid of most of them put some SMC in a sprayer with ICE COLD water it kills them. the mites HATE cold water

  • i used neem and slowed them down a lot but didnt get rid of the eggs i ended up using a sulphur smoke bomb the kind you use to get rid of house mites and bed bugs which seamed to work really well but luckily i found mine first week of flower but iv heard if you set off a smoke bomb once deep into flowering stage it can effect taste

  • Ladybugs, Green Lacewing, Spider Mite Predators all feed on both the adult and eggs...

  • yea i sprayed my plaints daily and they got around 3 feet then a break out of mites killed 5 off my plaints and mights wiped my last years inside grow to i found nothing to kill them little fuckers

  • @inuyashaATEisaac neem oil kill them too .....

  • @mongrelmob100 lady bugs

  • SMK Spider Mite Killer is the best organic spray I have ever used.

  • Seal off the room 2 hours before lights on and get a big ass bucket of hot water and drop 30 pounds of dry ice in there it removed all of the oxygen from the room and kills Everything.

  • i heard u can use garlic in ur soil and they will drop fkn dead

  • NEEM OIL TIME !!!!!!

  • spider mites suck i have to vaccum them up off the plants everyday crazy

  • SMK Spider Mite Killer blows any of these old products away. It just won Smoke Time magazine award for best pot product for 2011. Used it myself, worked better than anything I have tried.

  • Ive found neem oil useless to be honest.

The best thing i found that works is westland plant rescue. Its got a systemic compound in it so you have to allow 12 weeks growing time. BUT it kills everything and i mean everything trying to eat your plant. 1 dose of this stuff will solve all your problems...forever :)

I have tried a lot of things....but this plant rescue stuff is by far the best at killing and stopping them breeding.

Neem oil is only any good if you catch them before they lay eggs

  • neem oil is the best thing to use i had these little buggers and they piss me off so bad im getting mad just watching that little fucker run around, best thing about neem oil is you can use it often and days before harvest, its 100% natural.

  • @hydropropop

Hey man, thanks for info.. unfortunately each day theres more and more, regardless of how many times ive wiped the leaves, sprayed it down, neem oil, etc. Had to torch it :-( but this is real good info for next time! thanks again.

Theres black shit all over the bottm of all the leaves, is that bug shit or eggs? And i gotta wipe every leaf down?

  • this bitches are in my plants too! i fucking hate them

  • hey guys i just found out my current plant has spidermites just like the last.. and my ventilation is really good.....the humidity is typically at about 40 or 45.. which is great for my climate.. . im wondering how to use neem oil... can i prevent spidermites all together by spraying in veg. if so how often should i spray... how long before harvest should i not spray.. .. my plant is just like 2 and a half weeks into budding.. im gonna get some neem like tommorow..

  • i usually spray my plants with spider mite control before its sex reveals that way it will reduce the chance of spidermite pandemic or any other bug, and also it will not damage or contaminate your bud. just remember to do it at an early stage before it buds

  • Bummer man

  • I probably smoked spider mites because I had them on my plants too but after I let the buds dry I didn't see any on the buds when I broke it up and smoked it. But I bet there was some on there lol So i called it spider weed. lol

  • @nywarlord87 Shoulda made hash

  • @bubbabross86 safer brand insect killing soap

  • I hate spider mites! They are so persistent. I have had little to no success controlling them.

  • @MrBluntsworth420 best bet at control is to check your plants often to catch em early.

  • @anthonytaurus Agreed. I spray em with azamax once a week to keep em away. Use tepid water and spray early in the light cycle to prevent fungus problems. I tried predator mites in my bud chamber because I didnt want to spray. By the time I noticed the buggers, ordered the preds, and waited 3 days for it to arrive, I had a major infestation. I added the preds which come in a corn cob dust.........and what a mess. Ended up spraying anyhow was out 50 bucks and plants were covered in sawdust

  • @michiganmontster Good luck trying to get the sawdust off the sticky.....Bleh! Unless you catch the infestation right away, and have predator mites on hand, you are fighting a loosing battle. In my opinion the predator mites are a scam.

  • @MrBluntsworth420 Lady Bugs.

  • @MrBluntsworth420 release box elder bugs in your room, they will not eat your plant and feast on mites. lady bugs work as well.

  • @MrBluntsworth420 ever heard of prevention???
