omg i love cape may i want to move there someday, im going saturday and I can't wait. It makes me so sad tho that Henry's is closed. That was the best restraunt on the beach!!! :)
ahhh the painted ladies.lovely footage .i am a former south nj beach bum.. i now live on chincoteague island in va. our victorian mansions all burned to the ground in the 1920's such a loss. cape may is breathtaking year round, but with the christmas season coming up, i highly suggest a visit.
HAHA! The Henry's store brings back memories. They have dried starfish in there and they smell like straight up feet! we used to shove them in eachother's faces. :)
Spent 2 weeks there every summer when I was a kid...what an awesome place. Miss it so much...now that I have kids of my own, we're thinking about heading back. It's 9-hour drive from here but SO worth it. Wondering if the Coachman's Motor Inn is still there.
i live in connecticut and my family owns a house down there with some relatives. Practically everyone where i live goes to snotty places in Massachusetts, like Marthas Vineyard or Cape Cod. im the only one that goes to real beach towns. South Jersey rocks!
@timberwolf84 man I love Uncle Bills too! I'm 13 and my family goes on vacation to Cape May every year. Also, I noticed that there was a picture of the Coachman's hotel. I used to stay in room no. 1 every year. It was going to be torn down, but they just turned it into another hotel called The Beach Shack. Now that it's summer I hope I get the chance to go soon. I'll take some pictures too!
I like to feel sexy....knowing someone is watching me ..wanting me...turns me on!BADLY! I like to flirt and pose..and sometimes i like to get WILD! how? ..he he..come in video and youll see:-)) maybe u can teach me something..or maybe i will ! come visit me at MeetYourFling (.COM) my user-id there is katalin-qlsf chat soon on cam :-) jpnnckywkj
Thank you for this video. I learned to walk in Cape May and had many birthdays and happy vacations there. It's a part of my childhood that will be with me forever. When my grandmother died, my last words to her were "We'll always have Cape May."
Cape May is perhaps the last clean and walkable area in the multicultural imperial empire which is the state of New Jersey. However, the tentacles of a police state appear as tourists pay high Bed & Breakfast and Hotel fees disproportionate to the quality of service. Tourists are also forced to purchase and carry beach tags in order to occupy beachs. The owner of Cogress Hall spurred controversy recently when he proposed to build Casino's in this once quaint victorian town.
I heard the hotel tax is one of the things that is forcing some of the B&Bs to close and become condos instead. People come down and think they are paying one price and then get whacked with the room tax.
It's similar to how the federal luxury tax on boats killed the boat building industry overnight. It has recovered somewhat but taxes kill.
i havent heard of any of that , and shit if that is true i will vote against the tax next time around, and if yall need a place to crash stop on by man , townbank road represented :-)
i love cape may!!! I've been going every summer since I was born and I'm so sad to see many things closing like Henry's, the Beach Theater etc. :(
