  • 501 c 3, credentials, retirement, tithing, board meetings, proselytes, there is so much unrighteous deception going on, and with the time being short more and more people are holding the "church" leaders to a higher credibility level than the least among them as Paul taught. It is those, that are controlling the churches, that have the greatr damnation because they manipulate the teachings to the sheep. My heart breaks everyday for the people of God that are being led like sheep down a wide path

  • I thank the Lord for you. And thank you for doing this series. The Lord Warned me when I first became born of His Spirit, that they would rise against me, punish me, and put me out of their assemblies. I later found that most "churches" are nothing more than religious places of governing, and the majority reject the headship of our Lord Jesus Christ. I conformed to the governing structure of these western churches, however I did not compromise the Lordship of Christ, and that became offensive

  • Not at all, my video's were taken at different conferences concerning gathering around Christ in our homes, this is not a church meeting! There are times of concentrated teaching that we as His people can engage in that is not an Ekklesia meeting.

  • Interestingly enough, in this video you have one man in front of a group teaching a prepared message. Haha. That's ironic.

  • 1 Cor.14:26 HOw is it brethren when you come together every one has a tongue, and song, a doctrine, an interpretation. Let everything be done unto edifying. The new testament order of meeting is open and the main speaker is Christ by his Holy Spirit not any man. Your one man show is UNBIBLICAL.

  • Everyone comes with a word etc, that’s Biblical, no one ‘leading ‘ – that’s UN-Biblical. Christ instructed Apostle’s set up Elders, plural, it was their job to ‘police’; withstand error ensuring any remarks, songs or teaching was coming from a Biblical INTERPRETATION.

The O.T. Prophets, Jesus and Apostles interpreted Scriptures in a normal, grammatical way keeping to CONTEXT! Personal opinions or ‘visions’ and spiritualising text, like Covenant Theology, unchecked = gross error.

  • Praise Jesus Christ, I love these series of video's!

  • thank you and praise the Lord!! How far we as the body of Christ have forsaken the biblical gathering and body life. I call it a spiritual Babylon and captivity but lets return, rebuild and restore the body of Christ.

  • Indeed, Some of us were in Babylon for a moment, but God has called us out! It's time to move out and return to where we are meant to be.

  • Tjg, even if all the people in your fellowship are in agreement beware of rituals, programs or any man who would want to take over. Be willing to throw someone out who is trying to run the show.

  • hopefully we should be speaking with one another. To throw someone out without a scriptural reason would not be the will of God. We must follow the bible, dealing with all that is needed, for the truth to be followed. thanks

    TJ

  • We've watched over 2000 years men rise up in the flesh and "take over" the Body of Christ, evil men with evil intentions. It's time we don't sit by like wilting flowers and allow that to happen. By the way, we don't follow the Bible we follow Christ and his Spirit, any man can manipulate the scripture for his own benifit and hammer the sheep into submission.

  • @Pfsif Christ is the Word of God, and I agree that we follow His Spirit, I do have to interject though, The Bible is our Foundation for correction, instruction, and training. We should always try the spirits, and that by the Word of Truth. Manipulating has, and will continue to go on, But we are those that tremble at His Word. And it is the Bible that our faith is in.

  • 1 Tim.3:1 If any man desure...he desirer a good thing, he must be... Here, desire to serve is first mentioned as needful, then the list goes on concerning his character, then he must be able to teach and have his own house in order. First things first, secondly, the apostles appointed elders in every church Acts 14:23 and Titus 1:5 in every city. Apostles gave birth to the churches and the Lord has set them first in order 1 Cor.12:28 and we are to come to some aggreement in reconizing elders

  • Also it the abuse of the table of the Lord that Paul told them to eat at home, that is, if you are hungry, you should first eat at home before gathering with the saints for the agape feast. There were the poor also who came to the table that went away with out eating and paul said you shame them. Evadently, it was an opportunity for the poor to recieve a meal. Eating together was a perfect fellowship with each other, fostering unity and brotherly love...

  • Its sounds very organic and personal. Question on pastoral election. Did people offer to be a pastor or did they look at the elders and who ever was fitting the qualification of Titus was chosen.

  • The Lord's Supper was made up of only bread and fruit of the vine (Matthew 26:26-30). Despite all of the other food which made up the Passover feast, Jesus only commanded us to take part of two items and to remember Him through those elements. Are we not told in 1 Corinthians 11:22 that we have houses to eat and drink in? Therefore shouldn't we just eat the bread and drink the fruit of the vine remembering Jesus and His death without eating a meal and satisfying our carnal desires?

  • We know that Jesus was eating a meal at the last supper so the church remembered and followed what the apostles gave to the church the Lord's supper, not the Lord's snack. The eating was not to satisfy their carnal appetites but was a holy meal. The Corinthians were making it their own meal and getting drunk, that is why Paul reprimanded them and said that the meal no longe was the Lords supper but their own. his answer for them was to eat at home if they are hungry and wait for each other.

  • Very interesting, the church gathers once a week to eat a meal together and fellowship around Christ and everyone has the opportuity to share and participate, also the blessing of the intimate fellowship together.

  • The pulpit is an old testament idea that we read in the Book of Era, not a New Covenant practice! A Homily comes from the Greek culture for the exersise of retoric. This pagan practice came into the church and is commonly practiced. This is totally unscriptural as we read in 1 Cor.14:26. Paul preached all night long in Troas. The word preached in the original is dialogue. We need to return to open particaptory meetings led of the Spirit. Get out of Saul's House and return to Christ.
