  • This is the best us1 trucking layout on youtube. Please give us another video but with the train running this time.Very Nice.

  • thats really cool

  • Loved Electric Trucking when I was a kid, thanks for taking me down memory lane.

  • CCCOOOOOOOLLLLLLLLLLL!!!!!!!!

  • great job on that layout.

  • I remember looking at that cataloging and wishing I had all that extra stuff like airports and other neat vehicles.

  • I wish my grandfather had been that cool

  • that is so awesome

  • this would have been my dream toy, if I was a child in the 80s!

  • I like how you integrated the layout with the tunnels. If we set up ours permanently then I'd try to do something like that.

  • nice!! I wanted to get the road rail crossings but they are a fortune to get now. I know a local hobby shop that has them but they want $65.00 a PIECE!!!

  • @K9FON EBAY! I got both for about $20 a few years ago.

  • @K9FON go and thieve it

  • so cool

  • nice, brings back memories. i had a layout similar to this. i miss that thing. it would be nice to get back into it.

  • Nice Layout!

The train track /railroad crossing for US 1 Tyco trucking is very rare.

  • nice layout! i wanted to get one of those and set it up with my trains and slot cars.

  • How & where did you get the smoke thingy? Is it your own invention or do they sell it somewhere?

  • My dad took the smoking contraption off a train and hooked it up to a light switch, put a red blinking light in the house and melted a little model house down for affect.

  • Thats great! Nice work with your setup.

  • Set this up every Christmas with my kids who still love to play with it.

  • best christmas and brithday presents that i still own and now bought more to share with my sons. Tyco/Mattel really should bring this back

  • I agree, If they only still made one. I had two of the sets in the 80's and ran an ho train around the ouside of it.

  • If Tyco only still made toys like this. I remember getting my slot car race track set for Christmas when I was a kid. I had the Lamborghini slot car set. I remember when I was older I bought a AFX slot car racing set also. I found a set of Tyco motorcycle race set at an Auction.

  • Definately coolest toy that TYCO ever made, I had mine set up with trains running too. Cheers

  • That is a really nice layout. You could probably sell it on ebay and pay for at least a year of your grandson's college.

  • I WISH i had that entire set! I had some of the pieces but I've never seen them all together...that was my favorite xmas gift ever, and it was soooo much fun to play with it with my HO scale trains...hearforall i agree with you 100%!

  • best present ever

  • Lucky - yours still work

  • US 1 Trucking still remains to date the best Christmas Present I have ever received in my life, period.

  • oh man this is great !!! coolest tyco layout i ever seen :-)

    greetings from italy !!!

    francesco

  • thats coooooool

  • I'm more into the Tyco race sets. . .but that US-1 setup is flippin' awesome!!!

That's a whole dang city there, with rail even.

  • That has got to be the coolest US-1 setup I have ever seen!

  • Very nice! I wish they still made those US 1 sets.

  • this is the coolest US1 layout i have seen ,,, i live in new zealand ,, have many trucks, cars ,you name it,, but i foolishly let go of buildings, track ,ect,, oh well ,,how did you keep the young one from grabbing,, amazing,, my one would have gone nuts,,, 21 months

  • if you sell this plz plz plz plz let me know

  • I had a US-1 set in my mid single digits. And of course only a few pieces survived (my brother had one too, gone also). Last year thanks to Ebay i got all of my stuff back, along with my brothers stuff, and then some. Including a road/rail track to combine it with my trains.

If only i had a place to set it up besides the floor :(

  • This stuff is great, I bought quite an extensive collection in 2005-2006, I spent at least $6,000 on it, had just about 1 of everything, 13 sets, almost every car, all the trailers, all the accessories, it took up an entire closet, then I sold it all to get money to fix up my '62 Dodge Dart, all I kept was the Army Transport set I have, but I am seriously gonna get back into it soon.

  • I am totally interested in this set or layout if he plans to sell. Let me know. I loved this stuff, I had one as a kid!

  • i remember that set, looks great. Wish they still made sets like that. And how great to share it your grandchildern.
