  • Same effect as Jack Carpenters quantum card(mysteriouse) except different handling but here theres no reason for the transposition, it doesnt realy seem relevant to the effect of the mystery card being their card its seems to me to just be a distraction, jack carpenters performanse makes sence because of his patter but here it doesnt, anyway i love the new handling.

  • @TheBradTobin

Sorta like the Aurora Borialis. Doesn't make sense but sure looks cool.

  • Jon,

Regard this effect, do you have my book Modus Operandi, the Card Magic of Jack Carpenter, or my old A-1 videos recently re-issued on DVD by Meir Yedid?

    -Jack

  • I think I had the original A-1 videos and yes your version was a big inspiration to this version

  • very nice handling

  • your palming is godlike ... really natural !

  • I believe this is one of those few tricks that can go into any one's repertoire... Another great effect by Kamm

  • 3 times to figure that out...your sleights are those of a god :)

  • your sleight of hand is unbelievable

  • i could watch all your magic tricks a thousand times and still never even get close to how you do them i know a couple but this was just crazy i really wonder how you do it i really think you should make some tutorials

  • your a genius

  • Beautiful ^^

  • WOW!!!!!! you really got me on this one i have to watch it over and over now to try and figure it out lol

  • This trick is awesome! I usually go from this right into the ACR (so I don't use up as much cards)

  • I'm working on a similar effect (by the use of two cards to pick up the mystery card)

Im working on the Bro John Hammond effect, this 'five start departure' is great too, very nice thinking!

  • very nice idea..way better than mine..

  • That'a nice varietion.!!!5 stars

  • Simple yet very nice.

  • Very nice effect!

  • Nice.

A bit strange the fact that you point out the colours of the queens... It's like ''the red queen of diamonds'' they can see it's red and they know diamond is a red so I can't see the motive there lol?

  • Its all about clarity. The red queens change places with the black queens. Its easier for the mind to follow color than it is to follow suit. Its very important that they realize the queens you first placed down are the black queens. If they don't there is no magic. The queens change places as a pair they don't jump individually. As a pair they are more easily remembered as the black queens not spades and clubs.

  • Lol, it's funny how many people who know next to nothing say "It's good but it's not impromptu" or "Hmm, it's okay, but you used a dup", stupid stuff like that, when they have no idea.

  • insane ideea

Darwin Ortiz had a trick with the queens(impromtu as well) were the selected card apears between the queens and the spectator has the missing queen(same suit as the the selected card-a sort of transpozition).

If this is your own original ideea then you are very very creative not only skillful

  • Read the description.

  • really nice and smooth

  • really pro man. I've loved all these tricks you've been performing. theone that still has me going is the ambitous card routine where you pull it out of your wallet. I think i gave you half the views for that one

  • Hey Jonathan, you got iLife 09? great presentation...

  • You have near perfect handling dude

Awewsome vid - I will be trying that one out on some friends!

  • this trick like there are no point to return hehehehehe

A pretty exemple of great trikc

  • Comment removed

  • very good but what is the name of the cards??

  • world poker tour diamond back

  • like it

    i will use this one

  • what the crap ? cool! 5/5

  • Nice! I do almost exactly the same trick which I call " Crazy Aces". The handling is a little different, but the effect is the same. Check it out if you get a chance and let me know what you think!

  • They are far from exactly the same. Yours is all well done but it is really two effects and I think the first effect will be forgotten. I simplified the effect. I don't like the way you revealed the mystery card it was not very deceptive. In my version the mystery card is right between the queens where it should be. One improvement I am quite proud of. You could easily adapt it to your routine.

  • veeery nice:)

  • nice

  • Nice job. Nice video effects too. Was that done in iMovie? Because I don't have that particular effect...then again, I don't have iMovie 09.

  • Yes my first movie with iMovie 09

  • What a great effect. Simple idea and impromptu. Gotta love it

  • pssttt.. but dont say it impromptu heheheh

    Perfect performance as always

  • psssst... It is impromptu.

  • Holy shit!!! That´s awesome. One of the best card tricks ever!!!! Congrats Kam.

  • i have everything figured out except for the mystery card part, i still cant see what you did there

  • That´s exactly the point of the trick, dude.

  • u cant figure it out bcoz the handling is tooo smooth and natural,,

    Very nice effect

  • Quality as always Kamm. :)

Nice to see you're putting in little effects on your titles :P

  • i liked so much the idea from my point of view one of the best u have created, very good.

  • I recommend looking at Jack Carpenter's 'Mysterious' from Modus Operandi if you have yet to do so.

  • Yes Carpenter was one of the influences and Bannon among others. .

  • Lol, I was going to say that was very Heart of the...still awesome though.

  • Nice!

  • that was nice!

  • Dude, that was awesome!!!!!
