Hey lady! I don't think everyone is going to proceed calmly. Some people might just ignore the alarm and have a mass funeral, run in panic for the nearest exit climbing over everyone to get the hell out of the building. Or people will do as you say which is highly unlikely because i know for sure i would be one of the people running for the exits and wouldn't care if i trampled over some crazy mad woman if there was smoke and blazing flames behind me.

They have these at the Plouffe elementary school, where a few of my friends went. But they did a longer slow whoop, and the voice message started like "Attention please, the signal you have just heard indicates a report of an emergency in this building..." They also have the SIGA-278 pulls as well. I think they have an EST 2 panel.

Silent Knight? it must've been them because i've heard that at my ES when my 4th grade teacher Ms Williams set off the fire alarm by accidentally burning a bag of popcorn... and the evax message was being played over the DUKANE speakers on the ceiling... along with the Wheelock NSs in Code-3.
