@kmhart21 ok first u need to choose a charqacter u want to be then P2 choose that character to (when u moved off it) then click B and click A then both (P1 and P2) click A and choose a kart/bike then choose manuel

(if u choose the another drift mode it will work but choose manuel)

I did this with King Boo. I wish that in the race one player didn't have a kart or bike, too!

me and my brother did that with birdo. it looked so weird. and when we was choseing the bikes, if 1st played stayed on one bike and 2nd moved the bikes the 1st and 2nd players characters moved so it was like they were both sitting on the same bike even though they wernt.

It does that becuase if you do the same character and bike glitch it cuases on e person to not have a bike or as if it is not there! ninitendo needs to fix stuff like that

Some people may think I'm leaking something or other by saying this, but whatever anyone says,I'm still posting this. If you want, read on for how to do this glitch.

1) Go into multiplayer mode, and advance to the character select screen. Get the first player to select the character which is to be duplicated. After he/she has made the selection, deselect the character, and allow another player to follow the same process. After all players have done this,read on to the next step.

2) Now, return to the previous screen, before the character select options. Afterwards, advance back to the character select. All players will now have the same character highlighted. Accept, and you will all now be able to play as the same character.

3) You will now experience a glitch, everytime a player selects a vehicle to race, all of the characters will make the same movements. Once you have selected you vehicle, continue and select which course you want to play.

Some people think by saying this I might be 'leaking' something or other, but this is the way youdo it if you wanna know.

4) voila! Now, when you see the picture of your character, there is a high chance that one of them will be without a bike.
