This is squeakin' hilarious! Over the years, I've bought several sets of this game from charity shops as I use the pieces to build landscape models.  The lamp posts are the most obvious bits to use, and the wheels have been used in moving models. One of the pipe sets has been made into a plant trellis with dolls' house vines and the staircases and ladders are handy in ship models, along with the washtub, etc.
