@1slammedram I couldnt tell you cause i installed the heads at the same time. To be honest i dont see what not but what really makes the cam work perfect is a 3400-3600 stall conveerter cause without it you wont see alot of gain cause this cam is more of a mid-top range cam

@FSTHEMI i like the chrome look and jus get a cold air intake but is a huge gas gusler lol its a 4 so its a bit heavy 03 but its still takes on the the 5.3 and 5.4 and the only add it has a flowmaster i think its the 44 because its stupid loud have u beat lightnings in that thing

is your a 4 door or a 2 door either way you dont need heads but they will always make it run better but i will say you will need atleast a 3400 stall converter for this cam to work its best and gears in the future cause with the right converter and gears it got me to a 12.4@107 in the 1/4 mile all motor with this cam and heads and 11.87@114 with a 100 shot. There are otehr cam that are a bit smaller that will also work good and you can use a smaller converter.

@karaokesteve When you get a stall make sure its a 3200-3400 and that will work wonder with that cam. If you want it to run even better that cam also loves 4.56 gears and you wont lose top end either

Dodge needs to get it together, and think about how damn sick a new Dakota would be, IF THEY. took a new 2wd, Reg Cab Dakota. Put a 5.7 hemi(to start, maybe a 6.1 later for people with lots of $) a manual Trans. 3:90 rear end. NO options, all stripped down and sold it to the public. The thing would SCREAM, would be tons of fun, slap some slicks on it, and a 100 shot of NOS< and you got yourself a nice Strip truck that you can Drive home and use everyday to go to home depot...

thanks but for the srtmax cam you do need to get a tune. its a pretty big cam stock block 5.7 which will equire tuning. there are cams that can be used with just superchips but any bigger and you will need sct or diablo custom tuning. as for the lethal sticker its a all truck racing crew in houston. the crew is pretty big and have some of the fastest in houston. No affliation with the lethal performance shop in florida.
