  • @dusknixs problem with 4th stick?

  • @lorkofknights Third, I think.

  • Yesterday I opend my cpu and cleaned it out. I took all four of my ram sticks out, which i bought two to upgrade my ram, which i bought them 2 years ago. So all four have been running fine, but i put them back in and got this blue screen. Long story short, i got passed it by only using 2 then it did a repair, then i added 3rd one which worked but when i add 4th it pops the blue screen up again.

  • this happend to me no joke. last week. its because your new ram is running at a DIFFERENT CLOCK SPEED so they are not compatible. exactly same happened to me. if you go to crucial.com you can run a scan on your computer. and it will give u lots of different compatible rams to order. for now take your new ram out and get a refund.

  • My Nvidia GTX 560Ti display has started crashing now. I don't know what's going on. Just put my pc together a couple months back. This started happening when I did dual monitors so who's knows. I really don't want to have to problem.

  • how to fix

    ?

  • i bet the flux capacitor broke

  • not enough ram for my computer, you must buy memory ram upgrade for my computer

  • @Bew7874 Yeah, not buying something for someone I don't even know...

  • i want 2 monitors :(

  • definitely correct when it is and really nothing happens when it is in good condition unless physical drive malfunction.. probably system files in your hard drive.

  • last time this happened to me it made a weird little music tune with it, it was kinda scary o..o

  • @hellokittypowa1992 lol, the sad tuba?

  • @SgtSavage166 who knows but I never knew my computer can make music on it's own XD

  • best recommendation: at least 2GB of ram in any windows platform for best system usage,. i had 128mb sdram with XP SP2 pro before, simply adjust its visual setting into best performance and not in best appearance and it runs well, good enough for web browsing and movies. / blue screen of death = probably hard drive files has been corrupted, run chkdsk regularly to check your drive for errors. either use TuneUp Utility for system best performance.

  • @19jOytOthewOrld25 Could also be a memory related issue, as my video shows.

  • @SgtSavage166 if memory related issue then probably beeping will occur.

  • @19jOytOthewOrld25 It doesn't always beep. If the stick passes the BIOS memory check, then it won't beep.

  • @19jOytOthewOrld25 Advanced System Care... with TuneUp Utility > best system tools

  • Can Unproperly seated RAM cause blue screen errors?

  • @M8DMAN It could. But usually the computer won't boot up if it's not inserted properly.

  • @SgtSavage166 Not even the keyboard LED's wil glow.

  • Sorry for my bad english.

  • I have 512mb of ram, i try to install windows 7 an detected 256mb of ram!!!! I go to my computer - properties an i have 256mb of ram!!!! WHAT IS MY PROBLEM????

  • @Mihajlo337 Maybe one of your memory sticks is broken, or you really only have 256mb of ram. Also, it's best not to run 7 on 512mb, it'll run, but it won't be very fast.

  • how u do that?

  • @kiongkuek Do what?

  • Comment removed

  • Typical P4 PC it's a loud and slow stuff

  • @StevensiTX I was sitting next to the window AC unit. The actual computer was fairly quiet.

  • intel

  • I have BSOD probs everytime I play some games like Assassins Creed, CoD 5 or any other game on max settings or when I work on the internet or something like that. I get error codes like BAD_POOL_HEADER BSOD probs etc. So my question is will those crash problems (BSOD) be gone if I change my RAM memory ?

  • how do i detect a bad stick of ram on my computer? I have a feeling one of my ram sticks is causing it to crash randomly everytime I am doing something on my computer

  • @trousien Just pull it out while your comp is off and disconnected, much easyer.

  • heej you are n00b

  • @ponocni1 Hey, maybe you should spell "Hey" properly. Then maybe you'd be in a position to call me a "noob."

  • @SgtSavage166 Type in google, Blue Screen of Death, you will find many solutions, to many to list here.

  • @hehehe929 But of course, I've already found the problem and fixed it.

Problem was one of the 512MB memory sticks had gone bad, and I've since replaced it. Along with replacing the entire computer! *love my new AMD Phenom* It's got 8GB too, woot

  • reinstall OS from disk...

  • @ProProgrammer150 Already fixed the computer... Problem was a faulty stick of RAM.

  • LOL u have password because u don't want people to discover out that u have porn in ur PC xD

  • @eminem1214 I have a password because I don't like people using my computer without my permission.

  • @SgtSavage166 It just a joke xD

  • @eminem1214 Hehe

  • At least PCs tell you the problem, were Macs do not xD

  • @nuckem64 lol really?

  • @itsmeadrian1234 Yeah that wheel cmes up and your fucked :P Also the hibernation is broken you have to turn the comp off then turn it back on

  • i hope that background noise is a vacuum cleaner and not ur pc, shits loud

  • @itzcuzimgreek23 It's my window AC unit. It's like a few feet away from where I sit, lol

  • when failure strikes reset the computer when failure strikes again get a large sledgehammer and strike it!

  • your a computer maniac

  • What have you altered? This problem started happening when you did what?

Try going back in steps, + new hardware can be broken to

  • @EvulDeeds The computer in the video no longer exists, motherboard was damaged and will no longer boot up.

So checking hardware would be rather pointless, I already know the problem, lol

  • Try installing ur OS on another harddisk, preferable a 60GB SSD

  • @EvulDeeds Already got a new computer...

  • your problem is you have a piece of shit with wires hanging out of it... invest in something decent, you have two monitors why not sell one of the monitors and buy a decent motherboard bundle of ebay.. i got a dual core 3.gh chip ,asus P5P43TD motherboard 2 gb kingston ram for £55 quid.. cheap as chips.it was one i built for my nephew and hasnt let him down..

  • @hackerz4life1 I already bought a new computer, a quad core with 8GB of RAM.

  • its vista

  • @itzik200 Obviously you didn't see the logon screen...

  • @itzik200 Or the video description... It's Windows XP with a customized boot screen :D

  • yes this is definitely your RAM SETTINGS NOT YOUR MOTHERBOARD GO TO BIOS MENU AND PUT AUTO SETTINGS OR MANUAL SET IT TO RAM MTFG SETTINGS AND REASON IT WORKED WITH OTHER MOTHERBOARD BECAUSE IT WAS THE SETTINGS IN BIOS IS SET IN AUTO.

  • @21boxhead My motherboard DOES NOT HAVE MANUAL RAM SETTINGS, EVERYTHING IS AUTOMATIC SO I CANT CHANGE ANYTHING LIKE RAM TIMINGS.

  • @SgtSavage166 what motherboard is it?

  • @21boxhead Was an ASUS P4SD-LA. An OEM motherboard from a HP computer.

  • click start go run and type dxdiag you'll see the information of your computer system, like memory ram, processor name and your opering system you use click display on dxdiag you'll see your videocard name and the total memory of your videocard. for more info rockclay78@ym

  • @emersonbreakers Not really related to the content of this video...

  • how to fix it

  • @sXegoni fix what

  • @sXegoni on his comment he said he have a bad ram and mainboard.. so he have to change both parts.

  • I have no sound on my computer right now. What's wrong?

  • @brettfoshager the volume is all the way down.. there is a knob to where if u turn it clockwise.. u get sound!!

  • @brettfoshager did hear popping sound before it gave out and if that happened then is dead and needs to be replaced or buy new cheap sound card for 10-20 dollars. if not then its a driver issue just unstall and reinstall it.

  • i have a 1GB ram...and when i start up it shows only 64 MB but in control panel its 950MB what do i do?

  • i have 2gb ram preety good

  • i have a problem i had 1 gig of ram but then i took out my ram to try some other kind but when i put both back i only had 512 what the hell?? my computer is so laggy!

  • I had that screen appear on me, the screen where you choose safe mode and etc., I choose 1 and it restarts and goes back to the choice screen.

  • you have 512 mb of ram and i have just 4+ mb of ram.. but this pc is fairly good than yours..

  • I currently use a computer with 8GB of RAM :)

  • ok thx :) i ll let you know if it works

  • and the the funny thing is that my bios show 12 GB of installed ram and CPU ID show the same 12000 mb of ram installed lool but windows system info show 6 GB installed

  • Put the second half of the 6GB in the first slots and put the first half of the 6GB in the last ones. Try that, it should let you know whether its an OS problem or hardware issue.

  • nope it was working before and no static elect from my fingers i changed the ram chips and tried some of my other ram chips but it s not working it s not the ram it s the ram slot on the board it s dead

  • do u still have warranty coz that happened to me and i phoned stone computer group and they just replaced my ram........ it was first 1gb but then they gave me 3gb as a sort of compensation!!!!!!!!!

  • Warranty ran out a long time ago :)

Besides I would've voided it anyway, I changed the case the comp used hehe

  • hey can you help me with something i have 12 GB ram but it shows that only 6 GB is installed i don t know why it s a ASUS P6T WS pro board

  • @FSXHD92 well sometimes ure motherboard only lets you install a certain amount of ram

seems that either ure max achievable ram is 6gb or ure other ram chips were fried

maybe u had static electricity on ure fingers and when u touched the ram chip it got fried!!!!!!

  • HDD Name?

  • @christiancapella1

    Drive C: was named "ADELPHUS"

  • Thats a funny HDD name xD But what was the Sea Gate model number? Just asking.

  • It was a Western Digital WD2500JB.

  • Oh, Cool

  • Hi my computer runs normally, but when i star BattleField Heroes my screen turns blue and then my computer restarts from nothing.... Whats the problem off my computer????

  • @Ironman792

remove your videocard and clean it reintall videocard driver or maybe your game is broken

  • i got now still

  • whats your pc called

  • Was an HP Pavilion a362n

  • just try memtest i bet its a damaged ram module, allready happened to me ;)

  • Yeah it was, I ran memtext the same day I took this video, screen was bright red xD

  • if you see this problem when you playing game maybe you should reinstall your videocard installer or your memory (ram) is already broken you got this problem if you not turn off properly your computer. rock_clay51@ym

  • I already fixed this problem. It was a faulty RAM module.

  • i need professional help please! my got bsod this is what happen came back from school i turn my comp on then like my computor came slow all of the sudden i manage to choose a username as regular but it seems slow like i was using 128mb of ram when i had 768 of ram then i got bsod.... can any1 help me is it the ram? if i buy a new 1 will it fix it?

  • yeah i bet its ur ram is damaged, try to use memtest and after try to take 1 of the rams and reboot keep trying that untill u find wich 1 is damage.i been having the same problem ,someimes can be drivers issues ,but i bet its ram.;)

  • @guido69x but how can i run memtest if i cant start my computer? everytime i turn it on it turns on light and everything but i dont hear the beep and my monitor got no signal

  • this problem happen just when i play assassins creed

  • haha my cpu also got a reset button

  • all pcs have 1 just go to the bios and choose wich actions u want for ur stand by or switch on/off button

  • Ive done some research for u and it says (in dutch translation) windows is asking for something outta the ram memorry that isnt there , doesnt exist, or isnt available

solution: test you mem (that solution sucks XD) thats all i can do

  • That's what I did, the bad stick came up all red when I used Memtest86 on it lol

  • was wondering if you could help me out....i just bought new ram and when i put it in the computer and turn it on it starts beeping and the monitor reads no signal, but the computer stays on? have any idea what that might be

  • Its probably short circuiting or the ram just doesnt make the right contact try to take it out buy a bottle of 100 % air or something you know in a bottle like deodrant (im dutch so...) and then clean the ram sockets with the dust off air bottleXD

And then put them back if it still makes that noise put the old ram back if THAT RAM doesnt make that noise put the new ones back in if it makes the noise check the ram type ddr2 ddr3 if its still not solved then u need to contact the shop. goodluck!

  • clean the memory slot with a brush b4 u put it there, and use everest to c if ur using the right frequency of ram for ur MB

  • how much ram?

  • 2GB

  • LOL, you got random errors. I have gotten reports of some motherboards having that problem when OC'ing, only errors on cold boot.

  • i first blue screen that came up i had once but it was cause my power cable to my hard drive slipped slightly and stopped powering it lol xD

  • haha, I had something similar happen like that once... I was running one of my old Pentium III computers out of boredom... It had a fresh install of Windows XP on the 6gb harddrive... worked great, and then one afternoon while it was in screensaver, the harddrive shutoff. I moved the mouse, comp went back to the desktop... and then... *crash*

Couldn't get the drive to spin back up again (tried different comps) and eventually I just made it into a HDD speaker (check out the videos :D) hehe

  • the last time i had this problem,my video card was malfunction.this error appears to be when you have a malfunctioned hardware and needs to be changed.

  • Exactly the reason why I changed motherboards

  • ughhhh i just got a new WD 320gb hard drive and 1gb kingston ram for my spare computer and when i started it up it started up fine but when it comes to the black screen where u can go in the boot menu or drtup(bios) it freezes up and it freezes up off and on even if i go into the bios it will freeze up and the key board will turn off =| then i finally got windows xp to install (not all the way) but it had to restart and hasnt boot up since...says "no video" on the screen can anyone help me??

  • try to unplug and ur video card and plug it back 2gether and try again

  • i upgraded my ram in my Toshiba notebook about 8 months ago from 1gb to 4gb and never had a problem until last night when i got the BsoD. It restarted and has been fine since but i'm still concerned..

  • If its only done it once, I don't think it is anything to worry about. If it's frequently doing it at random times, then yes. Otherwise, I wouldn't worry about it.

My XP Pro x64 comp manages to Bsod randomly from time to time, but it's extremely stable otherwise.

  • You were probally doing something that overclocked your RAM's abilities. An upgrade from 1 gb to 4 is fast and all, but you cant get too excited and over do things. I have 4 gb and I got bsod playing HL2 the other day. The problem was that I had'nt shutdown my laptop in 3 days, I was just putting it in sleep mode. Hope I helped. :)

  • Using SCSI on Windows Vista?

  • It's Windows XP with a Vista boot screen. Look at the logon screen and taskbar :D

  • my computer has that problem and i have 512 ram i think thats my problem

  • how much memory

  • How much memory did I have? 2.5GB, one of the 512MB sticks was bad.

  • i had this problem! but half of my motherboard was melted. im amazed at how the piece of crap started at all!

  • Well, if your motherboard melted, of course it would have problems...

  • no shit sherlock...

  • HELP I cannot follow the directions, i am running on safe mode so i cannot hear the audio if there's any. I have windowsXP and desperate. THANKS a lot

  • hi i have almost the samething ,only difference mine reboots after the this screen shows up in like 0.3 seconds and reboots again

  • i think this might work, when you are on blue screen keep pressing F8,

if you don't understand what i am saying then type this in the youtube addresbar

"how to repair bluescreen and safe mode"

  • When the blue screen appears on an NT-based system, the system has halted, pressing F8 will do nothing.

The problem with my computer has already been diagnosed and repaired. It was caused by a faulty memory module.

  • but it did work for me

  • I had that when I updated my BIOS. It does it everytime and luckly I had a OEM 1 botton back up, so it can pass throw the error and restore my system

  • I have this problem it sooo bad!!!!

  • i multi mon, and was wondering how do you get a diff desktop picture on the 2nd display? please message me back <3

  • Download and install Ultramon, it has just about everything you'll need for a multi-mon setup: second task bar, individual screensavers per screen, individual wallpaper, the works.

  • thanks bro

  • And also, that is what happens if you change your boot screen

  • I've changed my boot screen many times before; it wasn't the problem.

  • I don't need help; the problem was fixed and I now have a new computer.

  • Comment removed

  • Nope, Windows XP Professional SP2.

  • NEED HELP!!!

I have 6GB of ram in my pc. but when I go to my computer's properties, it shows me that I have 3 GB of ram. What should I do?

I thinck my rams are fine cuz when I go to the Setup at the very bigining, it shows me that I have 6 GB of ram. so I think its a software problem and I don't know how to fix it.

  • Install a 64-bit version of Windows. 3.5GB is the maximum amount of RAM the 32-bit address space allows, 64-bit will let you use all 6GB.

  • i just had a problem my pc would not boot into safe mode or anything

Good thing it could run HP Dignostic

Memory Test Failed: SLOT #1 removed that and it worked fine

  • I NEED HELP!

mY COMPUTER ONLY LETS ME GO ON FOR LIKE 2MINUTES AND THEN I HAVE TO GO TO SAFE MODE...

    HELP HELP HELP

    SAFE MODE SUKZ!!!!:

YOU HAVE NO MUSIC, CANT DOWNLOAD IT ONLY USES AROUND 30% PLZ REPLY IF YOU HAVE THE SAME THING OR IF YOU KNOW WHAT TO DO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

  • Try running a virus scan in safe mode,or check your computer's memory or harddrive for problems... that's all I can suggest with your information.

  • i think you have an ID-10-t error.

  • hey dude mine still restarting!!!

  • u finaly got there in the end lololol

  • you need more memory devices

  • Why do I need more?

  • Muahahahaah! BSOD!

  • I still have nightmares about it...

    (j/k lol)

  • i also used XP before and i got the same problem (bluescreen), i ran in safe mode and did a restoration, and everything went fine

  • run in safe mode and restore your pc, i think vista causes a lot of trouble, because when i switched to vista... i got a lot of problem, sometimes my pc doesn't boot or start up, it just say AMERICAN blah blah blah and searching NVRAM and nothing happens afterwards

  • That's not Vista its running though; Windows XP Professional with SP2.

  • i have a problem of my own, not sure about any of this tho, anyhoo, my streamed videos just kinda cut off where ever they like, can somebody help with that? i tried turning off the firewall

  • You need some liquid cooling. that thing sounds like a vacuum.

  • My new one is dead silent :D

  • Buy a CPU And RAM And A Big 1.5 TB hard driv e and it work again

  • lawl o_o.... -_- mine doesn't even boot up the screens just black...

  • got the same problem it would do that when i was playing a 3d game. i have 1.2G of ram..i think its the motherboard

  • Question Lately I've beentrying to play a game on my computer and everytime I do this it says "Could not allocate memory size". I wouldn't wonder but I've played this game on my comp. before just fine. Any Ideas to the loss of memory?

  • try reinstalling it

something may have corrupted a setup file

  • Tried it, I also tried closing all running programs on my computer that I could.

  • ok, well it could be the main bored or the chipset. or somethin could be conflictin

  • I think it was the motherboard
