  • you said it man Knowledge is Power. props for making this vid.

And of course it isnt all bout maths. its about knowing how to analyse situations, arguments and knowing how to reason.

And If you didnt know em you cant know how much education they really have anyway.

  • You know what... Its all in your mind... But if its such a struggle for you, fuck college then... Use ur smartness for something else. But dont you ever think your not smart, coz I can tell you, most people are stupid as fuck, and you definitely DONT make part of that group...

  • I dont know shit about algebra, math, all that crap either, but still...

You can retain that shit, but Im sure you would be pretty good on something about human behaviour... Thing about it... You do it naturally!!!

  • There is NO WAY on earth you have dyslexia... Some people say shit for us, that can destroy our lives, specially people like you, that are sensitive... Whoever told you this is a fucking idiot, should lose his/her diploma... Im a social worker and I know a little bit at least about human behaviour and potencial... You are very special and extremely smart! Dont let any loser put you down!!!

  • good video.

  • cont. also when someone shows and makes me learn something sometimes my mind completely forgets about it like a flash and it rushes right out of my mind and i completely forget about it and it all mostly goes out the window. it is like they have to go over mulitiple and multiple times for me to get it. i have always been that way man. i am more of a visual learner not a listening learner. i am not good at listening at all but visually shown doing something from somebody else helps me more.

  • Jaylove47 i am almost the same way. when someone tells me or teaches me something my mind gets twisted and distorted and can't listen clearly to what there saying. it is like they have to slow down real hard for me to comprehend what they are saying so i can retain it better. people like have to explain and teach and show me things in the simplest form for me to get it and understand it better sometimes if it works and i don't know why.

  • what kind of learning disablility do you have Jaylove47?

  • what kind of learning disablility do you have?

  • Now I'm in college but I still deal with the same comprehending issues but it's not that bad like it use to be. So I know exactly how you feel and what your going through. My only real solution to actually making it in life was just depending on myself and sticking to what I know, if i tried doing anything else then I knew I was fucked. You may feel the way you do now but remember, there is ALWAYS help out there and online if you ever choose to accept it, Educate yourself and feel good about it.

  • @Jouri21 in school the teacher would stand up at the board and teach us how to do algebra... everybody would get it but i just couldnt seem to comprehend anything it made me feel so dumb and stupid... even the dumbest thugs would pick the shit up before me... i felt so slow

  • @JAYLOVE47 ye I know how you feel

  • Things kinda got better later in life like in Middle School and High school but the difference was, I was completely all on my own. I had to do things the hard way and my parents knew what my issue was but they didn't really do anything but just love me and pretended like it wasn't a big deal...I had to go to Summer school every single grade year of my life except for the 11th and 12th grade...I did good and eventually graduated high school and got my Diploma with my classmates.

  • Everytime my teachers released report cards, they always included a letter in it to my parents telling them that I had trouble comprehending things and even put me in these types of classes between other classes (sometimes before and after lunch) and would teach me some things or play some games or something and I never really understood why I was always going to those classes sometimes but when I got older I finally understood why it was and I felt embarassed.

  • First off, I want to say that I commend you for this video and I know it wasn't easy throwing your personal business out there like that because alot of people dont like expressing themselves that much especially on youtube about their issues. I related alot to this video simply because I had the SAME EXACT problem you had, so similar it's not even funny...I had trouble comprehending things when I was in the 3rd grade and so fourth. I always got bad grades because I didn't understand stuff...

  • i see what you mean it can be hard to comprehend things some times. when i was back at school i passed everything apart from maths and even now at collage i have retake it and im still struggling with my maths. i did struggle a bit with English too back at school but i managed to pass and get a C in the end

  • Second highest english class*

  • I'm slow in math but was placed in the second highest class at my community college. When I transfer to a university ill go somewhere that doesn't require a high math level.

  • Do not let learning disabilities or Fear of Failure keep you from pursuing your dreams. I have ADD and social learning disabilities and I have graduated college. Whether you decide to go to college or not, you are smart. You have very great social skills.I watch your videos you are very intelligent. I have low self esteem issues because I tend to learn things especially social stuff slower than everyone else.

  • i like this video; you came across very sinsere

  • 1.Good video! I’m sorry to say this, but the fact that u believed a person’s intelligence is reflected by how one dresses, especially the "blk male" thug, is a product of U.S. white Media brainwashing. Just because u dressed preppy (A style of dress that began with Ivy Leaguers) all ur life, that did not reflect ur intelligence level. Just like the thug dressing hood did not mirror his ability nor does one’s level of education reflect one’s true intelligence. It may only show

    the opportunity a

  • 2 person was fortunate enough 2 have & take advantage of. These thugs grew up in adverse social conditions that put them in situations where they wouldn’t be able 2 attain a stellar education. It doesn’t, however, reflect their true mental capacity, which is why they did so well on that test. I don’t think u should be 2 hard on urself though. There are alot of ppl with learning disabilities who get by or who actually make it & do great things. Focus on ur strengths not ur weaknesses.

  • I have a learning disability as well. I have ADD (Attention Deficit Disorder) and yes, Math and Science are difficult for me. However, I was a decent writer and writing was very prevalent in my college major and masters program studies. No one is perfect; I was a perfectionist in my past life and the only thing it did for me is land me in counseling. So do not feel as though you have to be perfect. We all have different talents

  • Temple grandin the movie to people who don't believe they can acheieve anything because of there dissability I recomend it. Compareing yourself to another person can really bring you down I think a lot of people can relate to that so I can only imagine what JAYLOVE47 is feeling.

  • Please don't say those things about yourself. Calling yourself stupid will not help your situation. Theres not just college, there are tradeschools and in house company training programs. Education is for EVERYONE, that means you too. Do not deny yourself it.

  • that require you to figure stuff out.And rememberthere are technical colleges that you can go to and maybe even meet some friends while you're there.Your family said they would pay for you college before but I'm sure it won't be like that when your 30 or 40.I would make good use of that opportunity if I were you.

  • even believe in yourself no one will. And yes I get nervous sometimes when I get a not so good grade in math and the person next to me got a 100%.I do always get A's in English and History. And those same people who get A's in math sometimes get C's in English or History.I also get nervous when people are getting up turning in their paper and I'm the last one.Regardless I still get good grades on the test. You need start exercising your brain.Try to do puzzles and word games.Do more things

  • a learning disability does not mean you are not smart.I know someone who had a math learning disability, yet they were in Ap English and Science.I mean look at lil Wayne. He looks like a thug but he was always on honor roll in school. You just can't keep comparing yourself to others!!!! If you want to learn you have to just keep pushing yourself.Stop sittin up here telling us how dumb you are JAY.If you say you're dumb and you can't get it then that is what everyone will think. If you don't

  • Thank you so much for the new video.I was waiting for you to make a new one after saw how much people hated the last one.I just want to let you know that you probably discouraged a lot of young kids who wanted to go to college with that last video. As for those thigs or whatever how well did you really know those people.Yes you were dressed preppy and they were dressed like thigs, but intellegence is not measured by how you dress or look! Also just because someone told you you had

  • I know how you feel. i just try to learn on my own in peace and quiet. I was in Special Ed for most of my School years. if i failed a test or bad Report Card my Adopted mom would say all types of negative Sh*t to me. I almost was going to drop out of H.S. I was having problems at home & my I was surprised i got my Real General Diploma. you have to learn at your own pace. I think when pressure is on panic sets in.i used to cut school I would go to the Library to learn wat i was interested in

  • @srzman1 What were you in special ed for.. what type of learning disability did you have! I think I had NOS learning disability do you know what type of learning disability that is

  • @JAYLOVE47 No I don't even know I took a few iEP tests to see where i was at. I used to be good in school as far as grades went but as soon as i went to High School my focus wasn't there anymore. I'm going to check google to see what i can find about NOS (Not otherwise specified) google search NOS Learning Disabilities

  • I hate math! I was always good at everything else, history, science(non-mathmatical mind you), english, art and many other things in fact I ran circles around many of my teachers! But math always made me feel like shit, and I never asked for help in it I, hate getting help. I feel your pain.

  • @Hitlerwasright35 Me too!

  • College is not for everybody. People with learning disabilities can go to college if they want to. They have people that tutor in college even if you don't have a learning disability. You have study harder and apply yourself.. You can start off at community college and get your associate and transfer to a college or university.. I understand why people with learning don't further their education. You can also go to trade school.

  • I'm really good at everything (can just sit and listen and don't need to study) but math. I mean, I can memorize the hell out of some formulas and stuff like credit card numbers, bar codes, dates, all that and do some basic stuff, but even when I know the formulas, I still manage to fuck some shit up. Learning math requires a diff. side of the brain. Lots of people suck at it. They need to come up with better ways to teach it. Even though I suck at math, I still have an above-average IQ.

  • i wish there was a love button! i can completely understand where you come from with the learning disability i went through it too. The fact that you apologized shows that you a real man, because its not easy to do that :)

  • I understand where you are coming from. I had such issues with math and when I was really young I had reading and writing comprehension. I was but in a reading resource class and after a few years my writing improved and now I am a good writer. However with math I have always struggled. It took me years to learn how to round and how to do trig. But one day it just clicked. It takes time and now I am in uni. Some days are bad but am proud I got here when no one ever thought I could.

  • i hve mad respect for you tho, coming out and saying this makes things better. its part of being real too me. i did it, when i started telling people hey i hve a problem and not thinking if there are gunna talk some shit later things seems to get better and i got the help i needed too.

  • i totally agree but i go to college bro, i thought i was the only person in this world that has a learning disability. All through school kinger-10th grade i been in special ed classes. i have a hard time reading and doing math.Deep inside me i would think people would hate me and shit because of this and some kids back then did. I just learned to do me and if you dont like me for me then fcuk you thats it bro cuz im 20 years old and i hve dreams too. this college shit is important today

  • @kush1524 Most people with learning disabilities struggle in one or two subjects but i have trouble comprehending things and remembering things, i guess you call that retaining information!

  • Don't let math discourage you from pursuing higher education. Some people just aren't great at math, oh well. There are plenty of majors that don't require much math at all. Succeeding in college is mostly about effort and discipline, not being a genius. Find a subject you enjoy and do well at, and then pursue that.

  • I'm glad you brought up F.O.F. Just like F.O.R (Fear of Rejection), I also feel there is another one F.O.A. Meaning Fear of Achievement. I think when we do finally see that we can do well, we feel others will expect too much out of us, and expect us to maintain a certain level of success. We fear that we might not be able to, and in result disappointing them and ourselves. Just food for thought.

  • im a thug and im not that good at academics either but i bet im more intelligent than you seeing as you have problems learnin and cant comprehend shit lol. i think u are slow if you cant register stuff and remember what the teacher saying. and i agree it is kind of embarrassing for a droput thug to do better on the academics test than you smh

  • Atta boy. You're being REAL. This video made sense. You sounded SMART. Just when I was ready to unsubscribe, out of pure frustration with your unparalleled ignorance-you go and redeem yourself. Way to go Jarnell. Study what you like, and fuck the rest-except English.

  • @MsRealist000 for**

  • wow..well first i think you should stop comparing your intelligence to everyone elses because everyone is different..im not good at math but i study and dor those who are not good at math constant repition and study is the only way to fully grasp the material it takes absolutley no intelligence..

  • Damn jay you probably have mental retardation in a way. Just join special Ed maybe that might help but IDK

  • @jaylove-I have learning disability as well and I understand. Math was my worst subject but everything else I understood. Some of us just don't pick up some things but it don't make you a stupid.

  • @JAYLOVE47 You're not academically inclined, but, you have a big dick right? You win in the end LOL. Just kidding.

  • @Viktir666 lol we never see his body, but it loos like he works out!;)

  • for me, the moment the teacher breaks it down for the students (the moment he writes the shit with chalk on the board) is when i learn it and retain that knowledge. i never studied for math except the day before the test in highschool. all i did was just listen in class cus my teacher was boss and had a thick asian accent which i understood perfectly and the 'dumbasses' blamed their marks on it as a scapegoat.

  • to be honest i think that english class has nothing to do with intelligence and its just memorization. if you think its stupid and dont waste ur time/brainmemory on that stupid useless shit then you will get low marks like i do. noone is called "naturally good" at english because its just fucking memorizing. nothing else.

  • thing is, if you were taught it wrong, or have been looking at math the wrong way your whole life, you cant learn it as fast as the people who have been learning it the right way.

math skills build on itself. from kindergarten to highschool and beyond, it all builds on the same principles you learnt as a kid. thats why its hard for some people to succeed in math.

  • i allways got 90's in math, but in english i allways got 68's.

for me math makes sense cus i can allways visualize it in my mind. not as an image but as an idea.

when i explain math to people, they listen, but they dont copy exactly my steps. if they copied my steps they would get it right, but they try doing it their own way, the way that they learnt math. if u copy the way a 90% student does it, u would get it right. theres no multiple way of doing math problems. theres only 1.

  • @billybob1212 lol I always got 90's in English but math was my 68 lol.I think memorizing things is easier for me than figuring out stuff.I have a friend who loves math but hates History, and I am just the opposite. She tried to tell me memorizing isn't learning.I think it is because I can still remember stuff I learned in history.

  • @Taja548 memorizing things like english is a waste of your fucking brain. history is different, and i get better marks in it because its actually worth memorizing. english is just fucking useless..

  • @atlantagradybaby How long did it take you to comprehend things in school.. it would take me literally 20 minutes and the teacher would have to break it down for me a lot

  • Learning disability or not, you are very intelligent, my brother! You articulate your points so well in your videos that if I didn't know that you hadn't attended college, I would have thought that you had. You have a gift. You have the ability to reach others, while at the same time, bettering yourself. I am proud to share my race with positive figures such as yourself. You are a black king, and I, a black female, am here to put you on your pedestal where you belong.

  • @tenderonically I thought he was in college at first!I hope that more of our black men go to college and I hope we all at least got him thinking about it.I know when I get married I want a man who's either in college like myself or a college graduate.

  • @Taja548 This what im talking about sis.... so i guess if i wanted to get with a decent intelligent sister like yourself i couldnt because im not in college so therefore you think im below you smh this the superiority complex i was talking about in my last video sis

  • @JAYLOVE47 I said I would like for my man to be in college or a college graduate, but I never said he had to be before becoming my man. There's always exceptions. However,I think that if my man was in college or a college graduate he would have more money so he can help take care of any future family we might have.I also think he would have more interesting things to talk about! I would want my man to be at least making as much as me or more.I'd hate to have finished college and gotten a degree

  • @JAYLOVE47 yet he is expecting me to pay most of the bills because he can't.All because he is still working a regular job that any kid right out of high school could get.I've met people who work at department stores and a grociery store with their parents. You think I want to be working at a grociery store with my son when I'm in my 30's! I think not!

  • @Taja548 I understand completely! I'm in college right now as well. I want my hubby to apply himself to whatever it is he does. As long as he does the best that he can, I will always be there to support him. Let's not tear down the black brothers who are trying; let's motivate the ones who aren't.
