  • do you use flash? how about if flash is prohibited? what settings i have to use?

  • Hi! Great vids. I do lots of NC photography! My settings are: Shutter: 1/25 to 1-2 sec. Aperture: f/4 ISO: 1600 (varies alot, depending on the shutterspeed) My flash is always on ETTL mode. (no fec) blog.rudstrom[dot]com/?p=992 blog.rudstrom[dot]com/?p=1071 blog.rudstrom[dot]com/?p=879 blog.rudstrom[dot]com/?p=838 Tell me what you think! -my idea for my next nightclub work is to use a ring-flash, gonna be cool!
  • I'm addicted to shallow DOF, if I shoot pairs, f2.8 is perfect. I just love how the subjects are emphasized by blurry background. After all, that's why I bought 24-70 in the first place! Otherwise 17-40 or 24-105 IS makes much more sense.

If you don't use f2.8, 17-40 L is the way to go - great value L lens.

  • @PimpMyFahrrad

With Canon the AF works alot better at f/2.8 wich is important in these environments.

  • Your videos are extremely helpful!! Thank you so much!!!

  • @wzanette Thanks!

  • lmao @ 6:31 that blond chick in the back ;)

nice vid man lovin your work keep it up.

  • THIS IS AWESOME!!!!

  • if sometimes my Nissin flash was 90 degrees up and the object is around 1-2 metres and i use stofen, it always came out with washed out photo, i use TTL here, is something wrong with my TTL?

  • @domeee11 Might with your flash to camera connection. Could also be your flash doesn't support TTL.

  • yo, i have EOS 500D and Nissin Di622, is omnibounce good for spreading the light ? thx

  • @domeee11 An omnibounce would definitely help diffuse light.

  • I have olymus e-420,lens 14-42mm,1:3,5-5,6, with external Olympus flash FL-36R .

This is good for club picture?

  • @FlashStudioLT Wish I could be of help, but I am not familiar with Olympus products.

  • Quick question Miles, Im shooting with a canon40d w/ 550ex ...subjects are white washed. Shouldnt the cameraand lens be in sync and providing the proper exposure ??

  • @WILDBILLSTUDIOS could be a problem with your camera and/or flash, or the connection. I had a friend who bought a 580exii and all photos were white washed. He had to get it repaired then everything worked fine.

  • @shutupho07 Answered this in episode 14 :)

  • the lowest i can go on my camera is 5.6, would that still be good for a couple

  • @riotmaker816 Yes, you can use any aperture. It's a matter of personal style.

  • :))))) out of focus:))) keep going

  • great videos. i like it when you put some example photos on and explain about it. keep going ;)
