this movie is not showing the real image of muslims nd also not show the true teachings of islam , they just try to mix the westrn culture with the muslims so called broad mind, wrong thing is wrong whatever in which shape islam give permission to girl that she have right to speak but its not mean there is no concept of hijab in islam nd u go with jeans or anyother stuff ,islam give the teaching of peace this is only a good msg in this film nd u cannot defend music nd fashion ever in islam,,,,,

one of my all time fav movies. don't know much about the arguments put up in the film, but makes it forcefully.

whenever i'm feeling low or disturbed, i listen to the two beautiful tracks Kamod and Allah Ho from this movie. i'm not a muslim but still the latter song brings peace to me and that's all i care about.

music is somewhat contradicting. There ias an ocassion where MUhammad SAW went to attend a wedding function. a girl was singing some song but as soon as she saw Mohammad SAW she started singin sumthing like this :"aa gaye Muhammad SAW jinko pichla bhi sab pata hey aur agla bhi". Huzur SAW stopped her from and said u can say I know what has happened before me but dont sing that I know what is going to happen. He did not stop her from singing though

The movie is fine and i love it but their concept that Music is allowed in Islam contracdicts with a few Ahadith from Sahi Bukhari and Muslim

1. "The Prophet was Walking and heard the sound of the fluet he hated it so much that he placed his fingures in his ears"

2. "The Prophet said near the end times my Ummah will make many haram things Halal among them are wine,singing and dancing..."

and the hadith mentioned in the Movie Relates to the human Throat and voice and not a the fluet
