Sorry, my mistake. Richard Clayderman is a French musician, not British. But still, can he distinguish between a Concerto and a waltz? The couple is waltzing to the wrong tune and wrong tempo.
Empress Elizabeth believed in the transmigration of the soul... that she had been here before & would live again. She also believed passionately in freedom & loved the Magyar people feeling they embodied the spirit of freedom best... she railed & rebelled against stifling court etiquette & thrashed against their heartless & rule-bound treatment of her. She traveled a lot just to breathe the air of freedom, & went to places that even royals of the time rarely went... Egypt, Turkey & Greece.
Her philosophy was guided by a poet. A true Mystic... she believed in the 'Freedom (of each Individual's) Conscience' & the 'Freedom of the Soul'. She was a woman before her time & mysteriously transcended all times! Hail Empress & Queen of our hearts... Elizabeth!
would have been better if not ruined by devilish circus tricks........unfortunately a common problem around the planet and particular among "royals". - they like to play. "let's get started and see what happens"....an unfortunate statement / plan by a player at that time and created a disaster that has not yet been appropriately stopped. i call her empress stupid. you know alexandra moltke is probably the actual empress sisi. the only thing she may have done correctly is brush her hair.
Oh,Romy Schneider! I knew her in the movie "Ludwig" directed by Luchino Visconti, starring as Queen Elizabeth.I love this to wacth sevrale times.Visconti rated her as a moman with "passionate, tragic, feminin, sensual"
It's my deep regrets about her passing away in the tragedy. R.I.P. Romy!
@emlodik Thank you for your kind comment. Yes,I ment Empress Elisabeth. Because English isn't my native language,I am so stupid and am careless to make many errors.Pitty me!
Actually I knew her before this movie as a
fiancee to Alain Delon, and at that time I wondered why they were breaking up.

Just curious.
Why do you use Russian music (played by a British musician) with an Austrian princess?
Sounds like matching wrong country with wrong music. I like this concerto but isn't a Strauss waltz more appropriate?

@barrhavener Maybe they just liked the song, and did not get technical about who played it.

@ilovetorachan Err... I think you mean Empress Elisabeth. Same historical figure she portrayed in the "Sissi" films.
