It's interesting that the panel is not blindfolded. I thought Chris Noel was at least somewhat well-known at the time.

Chris Noel visited me in the hospital on Christmas Day 1965. The next day a picture of she & Eileen Oneil kissing me in my hospital bed appeared on the front page of almost every paper in the country. In a letter from Chris, she says that photo hangs in her home to this very day. That was the day she gave her life over to being there for our GI's and she's never looked back.
