You did say your version of dirty rice.....it looks good though. I especially like the use of curry powder which is one of my favorite seasons/taste. The leftovers should freeze well....I'll give it a try. Thanks for posting your recipe.
This isn't dirty rice. Dirty rice is named for the specks of chicken liver that color the rice brown. This recipe looks tasty, but it's not dirty rice. Dirty rice is a traditional cajun dish that only has three thing in common with this (rice, onions, and celery). Without the livers or giblets, the is closer to jambalaya than dirty rice.
@badchippo, also no bell pepper another traditional ingredient. I'm sure it's still good though, whatever it might be. But I agree it's not dirty rice.
I don't really see the point of having two kinds of sausage, seems like overkill but the rest looks nice, and the presentation on the plate looked fantastic.

it looks good but instead of the noodle packet for seasoning and all that other seasoning just use soy sauce its turns out great

@blacheart93 I agree with you., and It's definitely NOT jambalaya. She turned this dirty rice recipe into an Arabic or Indian dish. Still, not bad.
