Dude, a ton of these modern "thrash revival" bands have no substance! They're not in it for the art/expression like the bands from the 80s! They're nothing more than glorified tribute bands! They're imitators not innovators! Suicidal Angels sound like Slayer, Avenger of Blood sound like Kreator, Bonded by Blood sound like Vio-Lence, Evile sound like 80s Metallica...etc..Why listen to a band, when the band they sound like already exist!!?

to be honest, i thought that evile sounded a little more like slayer. and i agree with you. i feel that thrash has lost its originality.  among the present day thrash bands i have listened to, i feel that most of them sound like slayer.

Look up their interviews too (with the old singer), they're funny and they listen to the Beach Boys.
