  • Caimbridge was introduced into this world at the age of 82 but appeared to us

of about 39 he decided to stay in this place and did not return!

  • Umm fuck all relegions.... The only reason why we're being held back as spieces.

  • Stephen hawking is Awsome but the earth is basically a mix of atoms that make up elements that make up chemicals and it's also a ton of bacteria that have evolved from a single cell organism to a item where did all of this start idk oh also I'm only 12

  • @swordysvg you're on the right track. your age is no matter. just keep going on your path.

  • @swordysvg not god thats 4 sure its good your thinking this way at 12 years old but then agian kids are natural scientist

  • @swordysvg

    google abiogenesis.

  • My father complained the other day that scientist mostly study the most rediculous things. He did not mention any examples, but he said he often wonders why they study the particular things and sometimes lead to nothing. But is that not the definition of science, to study everything and try to discover new things about object we thought we knew everything about?

  • @2100sceptic Um, I think discredit as being totally and utterly false teachings is one thing and persecution and the threat of death by torture is another. One discovers the truth and the other makes it up. Which sounds more reasonable? (Don't tread on my memes).

  • Fuck religion!Thank you for keeping us down for at least 1500 years!

  • Those who discredit religion are just as bad as those who persecuted Galileo and others. There is a faith, over 500 years old, that believed in endless numbers of earth like planets, with skies above them, so many oceans, so many moons, so many men like Jesus/Buddha, so many religions throughout the cosmos. A religion ahead of its time then and NOW.

  • @2100sceptic

    not really.

  • After watching this, I find myself wondering how stupid people are still believing in a god. Keppler was the first person to put the sun at the center of the solar system 1500 after jesus was "around"..no wonder the bible is full of shit

  • Just face the Truth and stop hiding away from it...we evolved!

  • so the apple story is fake?

  • @ziggyjuarez thats not the point

  • @tarzandekat ok but it is then innit?

  • Why does there have to be an answer to why we are here? Black and White are what we label them, maths, language, science are our labelling. If my mum wants to believe an almighty being created the universe good for her, it doesn't make me love her any less even though my opinion is that chance did and the big bang. Why we are here is a question that as a child i let go of, as there will never be an answer. If there is one i sure as hell aint ready to digest it yet! need more time to evolutionise

  • @gemspeht thumbs up..this isnt like the other narrow minded comments of the people who are fully against creationism

  • To all god belivers: Religion did not made it to the moon nor the universe.. Science did. Bibel and quran is only words. Science is truth and ecidence.

  • mar8les and goldensleeves WOW-ing truths. :-) So glad my Jarda sent these my way once again. I had blinders removed from my sheeled eyes and began to understand these wonderful truths that were hidden from us via the model-the church was set to use to HOODWINK us all. Thank you Galilio for your sarifice for Humanity. LOVE LOVE LOVE. Peace to all. :-)

  • God I hate religion.

  • @TheAlexander356 Don't we all?

  • youre all missing the premise of religion. In itself religion has some bad intentions. but you forget their original question. Why?. we can answer how everything in the universe was created and how everything in the universe works as a species. The question we can not answer is why it works. we can explain chemically why a person is happy or sad. but we cannot answer why they are happy or upset. the great question is WHY did the universe come into being. we already know how.

  • @pigeon989 i was happily tootling away agreeing with all the science beats religion comments when i read this and you reminded me of the younger less bitter child in me was thinking this many moons ago. I am predominately atheist but the more questions we ask the more questions we get and who's to say there is an answer? Most people are anti-religious because of our experiences and history but what you said here reminded me what it was borne from, a quest for that ultimate understanding.

  • I believe in God and I believe that science and theology are complementary. No need to renounce one or the other. I do not like religious fanatics as much as I like arrogant scientists.

  • @Ainsiquenon23 Well put, you've hit the nail on the head there.

  • Where does the Bible say the Earth is orbitted by the sun??

  • @chiwawazz The Bible was changed many times and still will change when their claims were/will be found to be false.

  • newton powned the church bitch!!!

  • These are the great men of history whom we should remember, cherish and try to emulate. Their contributions to humanity are immeasurable.

    As goldensleeves said: THANK YOU!!

  • I never see the bible as such way that the religious people do, the earth doesn't move According to what sort of definition? There is no absolute position about the earth when the universe is defined by a Infinite space and stars.

or more simple, you are sitting in a move train, according to you inside the train, it is stationary, but compared to the position before you step in the train, it is different.

  • no actually its people like u that always fight and not let things be the way they are,if we would all just chill religion would fit right in for the people that wanted to follow it,because they would know that they are respected and they can be safe in knowing the trust of others

  • We need to get rid of the worse religions. And religion should stay far away from politics. I hope west europe will never become such a crappy mess as the USA.

  • there is only 1 thing to do.. ERASE RELIGION OF THE PLANET EARTH!.. 1000 years of science gone cause of the dark age.. think how the planet would look like if there wasn't a dark age.. religion is destroying this planet. FUCK RELIGION!

  • I don't See why Relgion and Politics got mixed up, it sucks to have religion that is fucked up by the politics.

  • we also have politics that have been screwed up by religion.

    Example: George W Bush

  • religion in itself is no less evil.

  • Etimespace you should major in physics. Your information is nor entirely correct. Nor is it entirely plausible. Nor is there an entirely coherent sentence in your response. What exactly are you trying to say?

  • I just want to say one thing to the work of scientists who defied adversity for the sake of finding truth - THANK YOU!!!!!!

Let's follow their footsteps. Science is our greatest achievement as a species.

  • Tell this to the religious fanatics that still think the world is flat...

    Science > Religion

  • I agree, but there is still alot of work to do.

  • wtf are you talking about.. you think the world is round.. pfff noob everyone knows its flat!

  • This is satire, right?O_o

    If not, get educated.:)

  • @MoparDRVR yes sir the earth is as flat as a sphere :)

  • The bible is fitcion. Science is not!

Concers me how many religious narrow minded people there are out there..

  • you can't have an educated argument with a creationist, its like headbutting a wall.

  • roflmao epic

  • @mar8les Unless they believe in all of this like me.

  • @mar8les Actually you can...seems as though you sir are the wall. The comparing of ideas is where basic knowledge and logic came from and while you might not agree keeping an open mind to investigate helps us understand our world and universe in a better manner physicaly mentaly spiritualy or scientificly depending on what your base is.And no Im not a creationist =]

  • @seamless13 So if i was raised to believe that unicorns created the universe yesterday, that would be my "base".By your logic, that would mean that i should be able to compare and share my ideas. I am open to new ideas, and i readily read and listen to many world views different to my own. However I won't and do not have an open mind for types who aim to piss in the well of human knowledge and preach things to be truths when their's no evidence. I agree ideas should be shared, but only good ones.

  • @mar8les

I have to say I agree.

    And I'm a Christian!

  • the bible says the earth is 6000 years old where experiments have shown that its more like 4.3 billion years old. How do you reconcile that? Look, I'm not saying I'm an atheist, but you have to admit that religion is constantly threatened by science. Just look at what happened to Galiello.

  • Thanks dnp for your comment. The bible doesnt say the earth is 6000 years old. Concerning the days of creation A Religious Encyclopædia by Schaff says: "The days of creation were creative days, stages in the process, but not days of twenty-four hours." Similarly Delitzsch says in his New Commentary on Genesis, The days of creation are, according to the meaning of Holy Scripture itself, not days of four and twenty hours, but aeons. The bible has been misrepresented by so-called Fundamentalists.

  • The universe is a big place and our sun is just one star among a sea of stars. Viewed in this light, why would God care about our particular planet as opposed to the countless other planets in the universe? This type of question is what made Copernicus so unpopular to the religious authorities of the day because it meant that the earth was no more no less special than any other planet in the universe.

  • How do you know that there is no intelligent life on any other planet in the universe. Did you check? Given that the universe is so big and given the fact that astronomers are close to finding earth like planets, it seems to me that there is a good chance there is intelligent life in the universe besides that on earth if you want to call human beings intelligent and rational which seems to be a big "if" these days.

  • To continue what I said... if there is other intelligent life in the universe which has to be the case given how big the universe is, then the earth really wouldn't be that unique.

  • I cannot imagine a God who rewards and punishes the objects of his creation, whose purposes are modeled after our own -- a God, in short, who is but a reflection of human frailty. Neither can I believe that the individual survives the death of his body, although feeble souls harbor such thoughts through fear or ridiculous egotisms."

    -Albert Einstein

  • sorry dnp im stanfirman.

  • Quote: Greaty Minds think alike, doesn't make sense. Because if everybody would think the same, concepts, ideas or other development would never evolve, it's the ability to think different which enables us to comprehend more about time & space and the world we live in.

  • they say "great minds think alike"its just a pitty all minds dont think the same, because if that was to be,we would live in a very different world,i wish there was more like minded people, great vids thanks for posting.

  • I love it when a good plan comes together.

  • religion has been holding back civlisation since galileo, there's no argument

  • You know you're generalizing there ?

The catholic church was (is) holding back civilisation, I agree. But please don't think that all religions are like that.

Besides, be carefull; Science should not become your religion. A lot of the 'religion sucks, science rules'-lot seem very alike to religious fanatics, if you look from a distance.

  • science is our religion

  • people like you who give science a bad name.

If only closed minds came with closed mouths :)

  • isn't that what the Vatican said to Galileo in regards to Religion? Science is a very admirable thing, but with idolization comes blind ignorance.

  • With the idolation of anything comes blind ignorance; Religion is not above this rule :)

  • neither is science, or your scope of reality.

  • nor is anyone's scope, though I'm assuming that was meant as a philosophic rebuttal rather than an insult on my character, lol.

  • Hey they perscuted Galiello!

  • What some people fail to realize is that the God Einstein believed in isn't a "Personal God". He does not have to love you or be the creator of humans. He's only the god who designed the very way of the universe. He also does not expect you to do good deeds so he can send you to heaven. The Religion vs. Science talk is getting harder and harder since many people are talking about different gods.

  • "Science without religion is lame, religion without science is blind"

    Mr Albert Einstien

  • When Dr. Hawkings said he felt a connection with newton, but then admitted thaat there were, of course, a million people born that day, I almost got chocked up, what modesty.

  • Anyone else feel inspired when they watch these videos?

  • You always upload great videos! Thanks!

  • christains belived earth is flat.... bible is incorrect in everything all it is, is that follow its storys like dont kill, dont steal, dont lie those stuff nothing else

  • First of all bud, I dont mean to be mean but, the bable says nothing about the world being flat. Actually, the first two verses actually says that the earth is round. "In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters." That was from Genisis 1-2. I believe in God and in science, so please dont say things about somthing you dont know about. Thanks.

  • i read the bible this is what is says:(im getting this from some bible website.)

In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. 2The earth was without form and void, and darkness was over the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters. Does not say anything about it form just no form whick basicly means it is not 3d so people though it was flat

  • "He sits enthroned above the circle of the earth, and its people are like grasshoppers..." Isaiah 40:22 (By the way, the Hebrew language at that time didnt have a word for "sphere," only for "circle"). Also, in Luke 17:34--36 Christ's Second Coming is portrayed as occurring while some are asleep at night and others are working at daytime activities which means a rotating earth with day and night at the same time.

  • Like i said before, I beleive in God and not just in science, and vice versa. I just want to spread the truth. Einstein himself once said "Science witohught religion makes no sence, and religion withought science makes no sence".

  • Fortunately, Science doesn't have to take everything that scientists say to heart, if it does not make sense; Science keeps only the inferences, theories, and hypotheses that work, and do not need to follow the whole of a Philosopher's guidance.

Which is why we still use the Theory of Relativity, despite Einstein saying that it was incorrect.

  • I don't trust anything, not even science, unless it provides me with proof. Faith is not required for the laws of the universe to take effect. An example would be a train crashing into a car. You may not hear the train coming (and many don't), but you don't have to believe in the train for it to kill you.

  • At the same time, this applies to God as well, but God has chosen to no longer affect the material world, and in my opinion, the zealots of any belief shall recieve their respective damnation, religious or otherwise.

  • Also, no offence:

    1. Scientists do not keep hypotheses. Hypotheses are only useful during one phase of inquiry.

    2. Scientific method is values. Organization of values is metaphysics. Scientists and their actions are subject to philosophic examination whether by sientists, legal orgaizatios or casual observers.

    3. Einstein did not say that his theory of relativity was incorrect. Only that his comological constant was incorrect. He wanted a static universe.

  • None taken, good sir.

    1. Yes, thank you.

    2. 500 words really is too small of a limit, it doesn't allow you to make your point fully, hmm?

    3. Yes, he wanted a static universe, because that would make it easier to predict things. Unfortunately, what he wanted and what existed were totally different lol.
