  • What an interesting intro. It's almost epic-like, except this is NOT an epic film by any stretch of the imagination. I did enjoy it as a kid, and even today, it still garners a few laughs.

  • This movie isn't really that old. I am assuming it took a while to come out on DVD because it was somewhat of an 80s flop.  With most things though, one man's trash is another man's treasure. The powers that be were probably also tired of being bothered by letters asking them to put "Howard the Duck" out on DVD and finally caved in.

  • i loved this movie as a kid, my nan rented it and ended up buying it for me as i would let her take it back.

    I watched it so much I ended up wearing the VHS out so you could hardly see it!

  • I have had a video rip :D yay me, but would still like to see it released on DVD. OK its not the best film in the world, but the comedy value is enough to watch it! My favourite bit is when Howard tells Philsy, this is no time for watersports! haha

  • Enjoyable bad movie. Love it for the eighties kitsch. I used to love this as a kid and I enjoy it now for all the wrong reasons. Although it does boast the odd moment which is hilarious. Love that opening theme tune called 'Journey to Earth.' It's fantastic.
