I agree that it's the best Wellcome TVC for a long time, but I don't really think the ending really that bad. In my perspective, the nicest thing in it is to see how the girl resists from all the temptations just so that his father could be by her side for just an hour. It's all worth it in the end and I didn't really think the ending was that important. =]
This is perhaps the best TVC I've seen from Wellcome for a long time. Despite some of you said that the story is not original, I think that the story itself does not need to be original, it's the emotions it delivers, and how this ties into shopping at Wellcome that makes it good. It's craftly calculated to be very touching, the young girl talent feels like someone from next door. Well-written copywriting, simple and warm. Although I would say that the ending is not strong enough...

I actually like the wide shot. There's a constant balance in between the shots which makes the commercial so comfortable to watch.

嘩嘩嘩！絕對係集體回憶！ 我記得十九幾年前聽杜文迪興陳小寶的電台節目已聽過這個曾經喺網上流傳的故事，十分感人的故事，估唔到惠康拍咗出嚟，小妹妹勁可愛，手版爸爸重正！！！
