So, upsides...it's shot in a pretty location, it has a nice soundtrack.
Downsides. Everything else. The plot makes no sense. The howler zombie creatures are smart enough to wear gasmasks, but not to communicate? They are created by something else, and also die because of the gas...very little actual sense can be made from any of this. And half the weapons are over-priced ge-gaws from novelty weapons catalogs. Was that the highlander sword?

very nicely shot and fine cinematography. kudos. but what crap plot. if there's only 1000 humans left, we wouldn't go around allowing individuals in the prime of their life to attack heavily armed 'alpha males' after first taking away the weapons of the trainee. that's stupid, so you lose 0.1% of your population in a training exercise? do the math folks, the human race would be dead in like 3 days assuming a 50% 50% probability against the howler. and if suicides are common, even worse.
I love Post Apocalypse story settings, probably my #1 favorite of any genre.
I was kind of disappointed though, I understood the premise and why he had to do what he did. I don't understand why he didn't take the free shot in the hall, or use the bayonet as a weapon. He offed him using a small knife and finished pulling off the air filters. The effects are cool sure, but I guess I'm just confused on that, lol.
Other than that it was pretty good, attention to detail was nicely thought.
Amazing images props were nice and so on but the story was kind of.. i dont know sloppy, the ending was a little pathetic in my opinion.. Falling over a stick and then heroicly rising up again? I dont think so..
Such brilliant cinematography, music, and editing wasted on a crappy story. A piece of crap wrapped in a pretty package. Cliché, cliché! Why is it that movies all resemble video games and comic books these days? Is that where all you guys get your inspiration? What a shame!
It was good, but the ending didn't make sense. I understand the symbolism, but I don't understand why that ought to happen. Is it implied that they all become howlers eventually? What was the purpose of that suicide?

that was epic...really well done...but...I didnt like the way the guy walked into the apartment...it was like he didnt care that something was out to kill him
