When I tell people I dance salsa, they often bring up this show, and I have to tell them I don't watch it. Now that I've seen some clips of what passes for "salsa" segments on this show, I am going to want to underscore that I don't see what I do as being much related to this sort thing. Do they ever use actual salsa music for these performances? Not that that is the only issue. (Anyway, I don't even like watching real salsa performances. I'd rather watch good social salsa dancing.)
