  • Great playing, Greatings from Ocala, FL (horse capitol of the world).

  • Bass and Drum go one and one together, i cant wait to learn the drums aswell!

  • heeeeeeeee. goooooooood... BRASIL ... ANDRE MELLO .... MUITO SHOWWW . VC É OTIMO ,,, PARABENS

  • damn....iv been drumming for 4 years and i cant even follow half the stuff u just did...great job man!

  • this is an awsome vid :D

  • dude your a beast

  • awsome, thanks for the video, i have question is it hard to hook up this kind of drum kit? I'm thinking to buy one

  • Lose the camo pants though.

  • See? With the click, you sound great. Use the click. Use the click. Use the click. There's no shame in using the click.

  • shut up

  • aweseom.

  • Wow.. inspiring

  • Very nice playing/improvisation...and I'm one of those who does not mind the loop/repetition...I have e-drums now (after having acoustic drums for many, many years)...I read the comment here about e-drums being cheating (I don't agree with this)...but the thing for me is that - of the few times I have tinkered on an acoustic set since getting my e-drums - I have had difficulty playing regular acoustic drums/cymbals...it's a matter of adjustment...anyway, again, very nice playing...

  • I watched for this literally a minute, all i could say is, Wow just WOW.

Awesome track, absolutely fantastic, you've inspired me to get a more liquid feel to my drum tracks. You are amazing, from the heart bro.

  • BAZYBEATS FTW!!

  • whow!

  • rock on man u are seriously my idle in drumming right now... im 14 and have been drumming since i was 11. I used to suck so bad but i follow what u do and now im pretty decent sounding. KEEP ROCKIN'

  • Thats awesome, thanks for the feedback. I will keep ROCKIN...so you do the same. BzB :-)

  • very smooth and great tempo..good job.

  • your playing is tight and damn good, however and no offense to you electronic drumming is cheating. thats my only gripe.

  • Thank you for the complements...I am sorry to hear that you feel so strongly against electronic drumming. I have a lot of acoustic vids you can watch if you have the time. BzB :-)

  • I'm not serious. That was actually awful of me to say. I'm glad you get to enjoy such a wonderful craft in the way you do and as often as you have. I'm glad also that you are successful in what you do. Here is a question you can answer for me from an experienced point of view if you wish to - how do you really compare those Rolands to an acoustic kit? - Absolutely at par, or closer to recreational use only? Best regards and rock on...

  • Actually, I have used these electronic drums for live gigs and studio gigs and I have made a lot of money with them. They have paid for themselves at least 5 times over. So I am ok with people thinking what they will about them. I am making that cash. If it works...what is there to fix? Guaranteed...I will rock on. BzB :-)

  • To be honest, I haven't seen you do anything better than I've seen on youtube. I think if you dig deeper you'll find the stuff that will bring more hardcore attention to your work. Right now, in all honesty, its kind of mediocre. Not to mention a smokin quick right hand.

  • Well...You probably did not spend much time on my channel then. My total hits have well topped 1.6 million. I have two vids with over 100,000 hits and one with well over 500,000 hits. Thanks for the complement on the right hand. I worked on it a lot as a kid. Come see more vids. BzB :-)

  • My friend i from Venezuela, i think your are amazing drummer.... i like so much that tecnic whit the left hand....

I am drummer too, but not so gooooood like you jajaja. see ya!!!!!

  • Thanks for the great comment. I am sorry that I did not see your post sooner. I have been very busy. BzB :-)

  • I never really liked electric drums but they do offer easier recording and not as much noise for those around you if you use headphones. How much does it cost for one of those?

  • They range in price from a few hundred dollars to several thousands. Mine was about $5,000.

    BzB :-)

  • can you still buy add ons with a cheaper set?

  • It depends on the kit....look for additional inputs that are often refered to as Auxillary inputs. Those would be your add ons. BzB :-)

  • Very nice work Bazy... :-)

  • WOW, that was actuelly really sick mate, ive been playing for about 4 years and the things ive wathed on you tube are sick but that was... it stood out from the rest hence the reason why i am actually posting a comment; i never normally do to be honest but that was just fresh oneday i hope to be as good as you and you know what im gunna subscribe that was fresh as mate.

  • Oh my goodness. I was closing my eyes to listen to this. Which is a good thing. I only do that when it's a piece very well put together. I admire your work and I really hope you continue to do this. Good Job!

  • Thanks so much for taking time to give this awesome feedback.

    BzB :-)

  • Nice, man! Were you in a band or are you still in one today?

  • I have been in a lot of bands...check around my channel and you will find some different vids showing me playing with different bands. BzB :-)

  • i bett you have been playin a loong time. the best drummers today have ben playing like since they were 6-10 years old =)

    5 stars!

  • very cool...and natural.

    take 5 stars.

  • Thanks...BzB :-)

  • Really awesome

    Nice and smooth

    5 stars for sure!

  • Thank you...BzB :-)

  • i love your drum style.i am a drummer. my daughter wants to learn how to play . what would be the best way to instruct her. i'm having trouble showing her. should i just put her in lesson.

  • Thanks for the complements. I am in the same boat with you...My son plays too...and he is pretty good...but I know he would be so much better if he would just listen to me...but I think kids are just programed to not want to listen to their parents. I am always amazed at how the kids I work with at school will listen to me but my own kid will not hear a thing I say. Ya...I would just get her lessons...otherwise you may pull your hair completely out. BzB :-)

  • Very impressive drumming, keep up the good work.

  • Great! Great! Great!

  • i like the sound of a sort of quick but smooth jazz beat. nice job

  • awesome.

  • this is awesome! Its a one man band!

  • solid...i dig it

  • that was awesome!!!! I've been playin drums since 7th grade and Im 21 now.. I've thrown around the idea of getting an electric drum set for practice and to save space in my apartment.. plus I keep getting noise complaints for my 3am jam sessions.. But I don't think i can afford one.. how much would a decent set cost do u think?

  • Any reasonable kit will be at least $1000...Thanks for checking out my vid and taking time to make a positive comment. BzB :-)

  • the hit hat when opening and closeing sounded kinda corny...on a good elecrtical kit like yours, is there a way to fix the way it sounds and make it sound more...real?

  • I agree with your assessment. I just found out that there is a new expansion pack available for the TD20...I did not ask if new TD20's come with it out of the box. Anyhow for about $500 more dollars now...I can get this expansion with like 50 more kits, a bunch of new sounds and some better effects processing. I may get it some time next year.

    BzB :-)

  • i love videos like this...there just so much fun to watch...and they sound amazing

  • awesome =o

  • dude you are awesome...i wish i could play like that!

  • well done!!! i'll try on my way.

    Thanks!

    G. from France

  • :37 ding ...spin ...smooth

  • Thanks....BzB ;-)

  • how long have you been drumming?? it's pretty good. er

  • I have been playing over 27 years now. I like to think it has been long enough for me to get it a little tight :-) LOL..

    BzB :-)

  • masters are amazing i wish i had one pearls are amazing now matter the cost you get good qualtity

  • get a pearl forum i have one ive been playing for 8 years and with good heads and the right tuning it sounds amazing its like 700 -800

  • I actually own a Pearl Master Studio Edition kit. It is very nice. I have a Yamaha Manu Katche kit and a Mapex...I love them all. My favorite is my Pearl though. BzB :-)

  • awesome!!

I've been drumming for about half a year, and I am learning very quickly.

Can you recommend a good starting drum kit for me? (under 750)

I added you to my subscriptions, and I want to see more vids like this!

    Keep it up!!!!

  • They thanks...I have 54 vids out...so enjoy. I will be putting more out when I have time...I am also having equipment issues right now. But I will get back at it. AS for the kit...try looking at Sonar and Yamaha. some of their lower priced kits sound really good. But beware...most kits are going to start at your limit and that does not usually include a lot of the hardware and cymbals you will need. Craigs list or e-bay might be a better place to start. BzB :-)

  • you spelled bazybeats wrong in your tags. just thought i'd let you know.

  • Thanks...I fixed it. BzB :-)

  • hi, just to check. are you okay, i never seeen any new videos. well i know your a teacher too. i'm just asking because your one of my favorite drummers.

  • im glad you recorded this directly from the brain this time =D

  • your a good bloke dude most people dont comment back there fans and u do most of the time

  • Thanks...I try...I have not been as good at it lately because I have been so very busy...but I do like to talk to the folks that write me when I can. BzB :-)

  • really awsome dude. does ur drum set have an expansion board??

  • Nope...no expansion boards...BzB :-)

  • Great stuff man, wish I would have discovered you a long time ago.

  • This was a cool comment to read. Thanks for taking the time. BzB ;-)

  • great drumming, i have a yamaha dtxtremeIII sp which is 2nd out of the best electric kits and urs is #1, which i obviously got something too good for me cus you have been playing longer than ive lived! lol

  • what do u enjoy better electric drums or acoustic drums

  • excellent.

  • nice beat. wicked set though. wish i could afford it. haha :)

  • this is amazing! i wish to get a set of electric drum when i was 12. playing in the church.

  • how much is that drum set u have ? buy they way great drumming u got good chops pleaser reply.

  • $5,900 at guitar center

    not counting the snare stand

    high-hat stand

    or bass pedals.

so depending on which pedals and stands you get, its anywhere from 5,900 - 6,500

  • hey polock its his own way we all have our own styles im a drummer and i play rock but i still appreciate this stuff so polock mind your own buisness and this wicked great drumming

  • Hey... Sick Drumming... What does you setup consist of? I want some :)

  • how do you figure this is smooth jazz at all?...try funk feel...lol and i dont think i saw you hold down a groove for more than 2 phrases..to busy..

  • Hey Polock...everyone has their own way of drumming...I would have commented on your style...but you have no vids up. I also see that other people are mad at you for spreading negative comments on their stuff. Doesnt all that negativity burden you after a while...try saying something nice...or maybe just pass by and not say anything. I am sure that you are not the end all authority on anything, or you would have a video showing that you are worthy to be here criticizing my playing. BzB :-)

  • bazy is a good guy and an excellent teacher:D

  • Nice Bazy. You make me want to play the drums again.

  • ah yes the roland t20 i believe? very fine set you got there i have a Yamaha DTXPRESS III which is ok but roland is better quality, but it comes at price

  • i bet you'd be a monster at rock band ha

  • ROFL

  • sick bro

  • You should play some more crazy grooves. I like this one... Well the music that comes with the set isn't always that great. Could you play some sort of techno-ish sounding beat? Or maybe drum n bass on that set? I think it would be bad asss

  • pretty sick but i dont really like the electronic drumsets that much i prefer aucoustic but your sounded good. keep it up

  • im comenting b/c u asked me 2. ur welcome

  • When did I ask you to? I do not recognize your name? BzB :-)

  • Lol i think he means at the end of ur vid. it says dont forget to comment

  • another excelente playing. Excelent chops!! I'm gonna add you to my myspace friends

  • The only thing I have to say about this is that the hi hat gets kind of annoying, but other than that its awesome

  • Dude all that i have to say is absolutely amazing keep it up, im 13 and a drummer and really want to learn licks and rolls like that!!!

  • Very good! I also play drums and I want to buy also a electric drumset. Now i have a normal drumset, but is an electric even cool as a normal one? Sorry for my English... I'm Dutch. Boaz.

  • great drumming dude

check mine out, i need to get me one of them electronic things

  • This really has become one of my favorite drum videos on YouTube and I have watched it at least five times. I wish I had some way to play along to jams without drums, but I am content with playing along to my favorite bands for now. This to me would be the real advantage of an electronic kit, but I just got a top-of-the-line acoustic kit and acoustics to me are so much fun to play.

  • Thanks for the comment. I used to always play along with my records or even the radio...I would play straight through for hours...even the commercials and stuff. BzB :-)

  • hey man ur excellent i want to play like that, but now im just a beginner

  • that was awesome. i gtta get me a TD-20

  • holy crap! your AMAZING!

  • hahaha...the thing is an acoustic guitar was not made to play electric guitar stuff right? U cant really draw comparison between an acoustic guitar and electrical guitar...post some videos of u on the acoustic....would really inspire me more...but this beat is already inspiring enough hahaha...n i like the video on the studio gig info....good job

  • I have pleanty of vids of me playing acoustic drums...just look through my vids. I have 54 of them. BzB :-)

  • how long have you been playing for, and have you ever had any lessons?

  • I have been playing for about 27 years now. I did have one year of straight lessons. 3 years of High School Marching, Concert Band, and Jazz Band training, 1 year of college band, and a few sessions with top recording artists. BzB :-)

  • that makes me want to take some lessons. ive been playing for roughly 3-4 years and i have some alright chops. in my opinion anyways haha. do you have any excersizes for beginers/intermediate players. anything would help.

    thanks jimbles

  • well i dont think its a hard decision to make...dude i like ur beats but it'll be much much better if u do it on a acoustic drum set...to me personally i think its harder to do it on the acoustics...

  • Sure it is harder to do on an acoustic...It is harder to play an acoustic guitar too...but that does not discourage guitar players from becoming awesome electic guitar players. I want to take electronic drumming to the next level. There is an art to playing them. The main point is to push the envelope of what is possible to do as a drummer. BzB :-)

  • I can't get enough of these "triggered" jams and grooves, I'm searching all over youtube for these keep it up. Although I don't think I'd go professional like yourself, but you make me want to get back into music.

  • Sorry I did not see this a week ago when you posted it. This is great. I am glad you were so very impressed an motivated by this vid. BzB :-)
