The book of enoch was written by satan not by god, for starters, what god would write "For i am a jealous god!" if god felt true love in his heart he would not feel the need for jealously as he loves us all as one day he hopes that one day we can love him purely and uncondtionly as he does, like a mother to her children. so the one says "for i am a jealous god!" is satan. he is the one that feels jealously because he doesn't know of pure love. and is annoyed by that. Don't you think it fits?

Not reading His Word because satan may have tampered with it is just an excuse not to read it. Read it prayerfully, He will show Himself to you through His Word. @brandon3501 - No, the demons are the spirits of the dead Nephilim. Evil spirits were not mentioned in Scripture until after Noah's flood. The fallen angels are still angels, they are just fallen, there is no forgiveness for them, but they are still angels.

@brandon3501 - Satan is a fallen angel and when he rebelled against God one-third of the angels rebelled with him. They are still fallen angels and not demons. Demons are the spirits of the dead Nephilim (Rephaim), the giants who were on the earth in the days of Noah. If you'll notice, evil spirits are not mentioned in Scripture until AFTER Noah's Flood.

These angels were chained there because of their sin with human women...God imprisoned them there, in chains, for this heinous sin. It is the chamber prepared for the fallen angels. It was also a place for a chamber lower than Hades in which most wicked spirits were confined. Mythology is often based on some truth. I suspect the mythology is based on the time of the Nephilim and the angels that sinned with human women. A lot of the gods were actually fallen angels.

God turns His back on your sin, yes. Your being raped was not YOUR sin, it was the rapist's sin. Bad things happen to everyone in this life. Sometimes God allows them for purposes we may never know here. Even Christian women get raped. He doesn't turn His back on us, but we can't turn our back on Him either. God is NOT responsible for your rape, the rapist is and when he dies, you rest assured that God IS going to hold him accountable for what he did to you. He will answer for it, I assure you.
God will judge him for what he did to you and anyone else. We are all accountable for our sin. When we are saved, God no longer sees our sin. When we put our trust in Christ, He covers us with His righteousness. Our sin debt has been paid for by Jesus and His work on the cross. We still go through things, sometimes traumatic things like what happened to you. God doesn't blame you for that. He knows it was against your will and he won't judge you for that either as it is not your sin to pay for.
God is a just judge and a just God. What I meant by His turning away from sin and not being able to bear to be in it's presence is this: Jesus Christ is God the Son and God the Father could not bear to look upon our sins placed upon His holy Son as He died and paid the debt for us.
When we die, if we die in our sin, He will not allow sin to enter into His presence or into Heaven. It is unbearable for Him, He is a HOLY God and sin is vile. It is abhorrent to Him and if you die in your sins, He will cast you out of His presence forever.
Jesus died for you. He paid for your sin on the Cross. He bore the punishment for YOU so you wouldn't have to go to hell and bear it yourself. There MUST be a sacrifice for sin...a punishment...and it MUST be paid for by someone who is perfect and sinless. None of us are perfect and sinless...but Jesus was and is and He was the sacrifice for us. If you put your trust in Him, He will save you. If you reject Him, though, He will reject you on judgment day.
Man is evil, we are totally depraved, dead in sin, we are ALL bound for hell. But Jesus, in His great love for those who would belong to Him, died for us and bore our punishment to pay for our sin so we could be in the presence of God, be with Christ eternally. He WILL save you.
I am so very sorry that you were raped. I can't even imagine. I've had a couple of close calls myself...once even at work! A guy cornered me in a stockroom and I couldn't get away and he wasn't letting go. Thank God that another employee just happened to come to that stockroom and I was able to get away. I was terrified so I know that feeling, but I don't know what it feels to have to endure rape and I hope I never do. And I am sorry you do know how that feels, that it happened to you.

So have I. I've even made videos about why we follow Jesus, worship videos, etc. But we have to teach about sin too, otherwise no one will be convicted of their sin and come to Christ. To say that I only would teach the good things from the Bible and God's love only, would make me self-righteous and I have no right feeling that way. None of us do.
Sin will lead to death. That is why we must teach what God says about it. So yeah, teach about God's love, I do, but don't forget to teach about what God hates. Because if we do what He hates and not repent of it, we are doomed.

I still fail to see any decent reason for not practicing occultism. I used to be a christian, but that didn't work, everything always seemed to get worse. If it got better, it seemed just for it to crash harder. Then I began with the occult. Things generally improved. Things still crash, but never as hard, not as often. In general, rejecting "Christ" and accepting myself as my master has improved life.

Only God can, and He does this by using His people, like me and the other Christians, to witness and share His Gospel. We view angels as servants of God (the heavenly angels, that is). Some are messengers, some are for worshiping Him, some are deliverers of judgment and/or death, some are sent to answer prayers, some carry the believer to heaven when they die,
some are warriors, they have many tasks and there are many of them. BUT...they are God's creation and not to be worshiped. There is a lot of angel worship these days. That is wrong. They are created by God for a purpose, just like we are. :)
No, we don't become angels. When we die, we remain who we are, but in a new and redeemed body.
The reason I specify them as heavenly angels is because Satan is an angel. He's a fallen angel. And when he rebelled against God, one-third of the angels rebelled with him and they were all cast out of heaven. They tried to usurp God from His Throne. Satan wanted and still wants to take His place as God. It will never be.
So we have the Heavenly angels, who have not rebelled against God, and the fallen angels who did rebel and are still rebelling against God and following Satan.

I usually like your vids Karen, but I have a problem with this one. If I'm understanding this right, you're saying that demons are dead nephilim based upon Greek mythology. And Greek mythology is trustworthy because it has some apparent parallels with Biblical history.
This is dangerous reasoning! We are to interpret other things by the Bible, not the Bible by other things. You could prove the Atlantis myth this way, and any number of other occult things.
In the Bible, there is never any mention of evil spirits, familiar spirits, etc., until AFTER the flood. That's because those spirits were killed in the flood and are now the demons we deal with today. THAT is what the point of this video, because so many do worship the gods and goddess and those beings are none other than the fallen angels and the spirits of the nephilim.
And THAT is why God forbids us to dabble in the occult. Those that do it worship those beings and actually believe those myths to be true. I was just showing the origin of those myths and what the truth of them really were. I was trying to show them that what they are really worshiping is not gods and goddess, but fallen angels and demons, and their mythologies are really distorted and corrupted versions of the real Biblical truths.
I never once said I was interpreting mythology to be true and correct or that it could ever be held up to the Bible. I was showing how deceptive mythology is by showing how the myths almost mirror Biblical truths, just enough to deceive. Mythology is a lie, but it has some truth in it so that it appears valid...like all of Satan's lies do. There is always the truth in the stories but it's interwoven with lies that can harm your soul.
In mythology demons are pictured as good beings when in fact they are evil. I never interpret anything by anything other than the Bible! God's Word IS the authority on all things. I was just showing the similarities and how they've been distorted to keep people in the dark and from learning the true facts of their origins.

And, Jesus dealt with them differently. He didn't destroy the man with the demon, he cast them out! That is part of the great commission. How many Christians actually do that?
I have heard that as well. I know a lot of people think the fallen angels are demons. I have always known there was a difference but explaining it to some people can be difficult. It's like some people think we become angels when we die, that is simply not true either. I have a CD from Perry Stone about the Pre-Adamic world. The book of enoch was written by satan not by god, for starters, what god would write "For i am a jealous god!" if god felt true love in his heart he would not feel the need for jealously as he loves us all as one day he hopes that one day we can love him purely and uncondtionly as he does, like a mother to her children. so the one says "for i am a jealous god!" is satan. he is the one that feels jealously because he doesn't know of pure love. and is annoyed by that. Not reading His Word because satan may have tampered with it is just an excuse not to read it. Read it prayerfully, He will show Himself to you through His Word. @brandon3501 - No, the demons are the spirits of the dead Nephilim. Evil spirits were not mentioned in Scripture until after Noah's flood. The fallen angels are still angels, they are just fallen, there is no forgiveness for them, but they are still angels.

@brandon3501 - Satan is a fallen angel and when he rebelled against God one-third of the angels rebelled with him. They are still fallen angels and not demons. Demons are the spirits of the dead Nephilim (Rephaim), the giants who were on the earth in the days of Noah. If you'll notice, evil spirits are not mentioned in Scripture until AFTER Noah's Flood.

These angels were chained there because of their sin with human women...God imprisoned them there, in chains, for this heinous sin. It is the chamber prepared for the fallen angels. There has never been any indication that human souls are there. See also Jude 6.

@KarensFaith - Tartarus is the Greek word for hell used in this verse. In Greek mythology, Tartarus was considered both a spirit or deity. It was also a place for a chamber lower than Hades in which most wicked spirits were confined. Mythology is often based on some truth. I suspect the mythology is based on the time of the Nephilim and the angels that sinned with human women. A lot of the gods were actually fallen angels.

There's a pattern regarding aetheism, pagan worship, humanism, et al. Most young people are the ones who are ferverently against "organized" religion. Christians are considered brainwashed because people do horror in the name of God. So they're called monsters. God's great gift of free will lets humanity choose wether to be saved or not, but, with salvation comes accountability. Its funny, but I have always wondered - why monstrous forms such as those of so called "prehistoric" animals, are not repeated for the most part in nature today. This expose clarifies the answer just that little bit more. Though I read the book of Enoch, I must have glossed over the "sin against animals" part. "Terrible lizard" is an apt description of most dinosaurs. Its not clear however what the "behemoth" was in Job. It is described as swinging..

God turns His back on your sin, yes. Your being raped was not YOUR sin, it was the rapist's sin. Bad things happen to everyone in this life. Sometimes God allows them for purposes we may never know here. Even Christian women get raped. He doesn't turn His back on us, but we can't turn our back on Him either. God is NOT responsible for your rape, the rapist is and when he dies, you rest assured that God IS going to hold him accountable for what he did to you. He will answer for it, I assure you.

God will judge him for what he did to you and anyone else. We are all accountable for our sin. When we are saved, God no longer sees our sin. When we put our trust in Christ, He covers us with His righteousness. Our sin debt has been paid for by Jesus and His work on the cross. We still go through things, sometimes traumatic things like what happened to you. God doesn't blame you for that. He knows it was against your will and he won't judge you for that either as it is not your sin to pay for.

Jesus died for you. He paid for your sin on the Cross. He bore the punishment for YOU so you wouldn't have to go to hell and bear it yourself. There MUST be a sacrifice for sin...a punishment...and it MUST be paid for by someone who is perfect and sinless. I am so very sorry that you were raped. I can't even imagine. I've had a couple of close calls myself...once even at work! A guy cornered me in a stockroom and I couldn't get away and he wasn't letting go. Thank God that another employee just happened to come to that stockroom and I was able to get away. I was terrified so I know that feeling, but I don't know what it feels to have to endure rape and I hope I never do. And I am sorry you do know how that feels, that it happened to you.

I just want to assure you that God did NOT turn His back on you when that happened. He knows what happened and He knows WHO did it and He will take care of business, if He hasn't already, I assure you. If this man remains unrepentant for what He did, this man will be judged for what he did. God will hold him accountable. He may get away with it now, but now doesn't last forever and God will punish him for hurting you like that.

To say that I only would teach the good things from the Bible and God's love only, would make me self-righteous and I have no right feeling that way. None of us do.

God tells us to stay away because it is deadly to our souls. So I am not sure how one becomes a witch, my question is, why would you even want to become one? Maybe for the sense of power? I still fail to see any decent reason for not practicing occultism. I used to be a christian, but that didn't work, everything always seemed to get worse. If it got better, it seemed just for it to crash harder. Then I began with the occult. Things generally improved. Things still crash, but never as hard, not as often. In general, rejecting "Christ" and accepting myself as my master has improved life.
God is their enemy, God seems to be my enemy, is not the enemy of my enemy my freind?

If you worshiped the devil, I would pray for you. I would tell you the Gospel and then leave the decision up to you. I cannot convert anyone. Only God can, and He does this by using His people, like me and the other Christians, to witness and share His Gospel. Once I have told you the Gospel, then I'd answer any questions you may have and keep praying for you. It is YOUR decision to make.

No, we don't become angels. When we die, we remain who we are, but in a new and redeemed body.
The reason I specify them as heavenly angels is because Satan is an angel. He's a fallen angel. And when he rebelled against God, one-third of the angels rebelled with him and they were all cast out of heaven. They tried to usurp God from His Throne. Satan wanted and still wants to take His place as God. It will never be.

I usually like your vids Karen, but I have a problem with this one. If I'm understanding this right, you're saying that demons are dead nephilim based upon Greek mythology. And Greek mythology is trustworthy because it has some apparent parallels with Biblical history.
This is dangerous reasoning! We are to interpret other things by the Bible, not the Bible by other things. You could prove the Atlantis myth this way, and any number of other occult things.

In the Bible, there is never any mention of evil spirits, familiar spirits, etc., until AFTER the flood. That's because those spirits were killed in the flood and are now the demons we deal with today. THAT is what the point of this video, because so many do worship the gods and goddess and those beings are none other than the fallen angels and the spirits of the nephilim.

I never once said I was interpreting mythology to be true and correct or that it could ever be held up to the Bible. Karen: Stimulating video. Another theory is that demons originated from a pre-Adamic race that has some references, if read correctly, in Isaiah, Peter, and Jeremiah. It really doesn't matter. I like that you DON'T call demons fallen Angels, the most common mistake!
And, Jesus dealt with them differently. He didn't destroy the man with the demon, he cast them out! That is part of the great commission. How many Christians actually do that?

I have heard that as well. I know a lot of people think the fallen angels are demons. I have always known there was a difference but explaining it to some people can be difficult. It's like some people think we become angels when we die, that is simply not true either. I have a CD from Perry Stone about the Pre-Adamic world. Very nice work. I find the similarity between the Greek "races of man" and the statue in Daniel to be very compelling. I had not seen this parallel before. Very interesting. Although that prophecy related to Alexander the Great, it obviously means more than one thing. But that is the nature of God's Word anyway.
