I have never been able to find out why my original account got suspended, or for how long (it's been three months and the account as well as the videos are all still gone).

I sent messages to dozens of people asking how I could fight it or find out what happened, but got no responses...

IOW, to be honest, while it's annoying, at least YouTube let you know what's going on & didn't just delete you out of nowhere.
