It depends on the frequence you got to use it too, that why english is easy to learn for most of the people. For example, french children take lots of time to make grammatically correct sentences althought they can speak easily and people understand them. @AaronGoldfein It's not supposed to sound clean. Conquistador to me sounds like something from the years 1400 - 1800's. Back then the drums were never tuned correctly or perfectly. And of course, they were walking with a very tilty harness on as they play in middle of battle, or just for show. They don't have the straight harness's as we do.

A lot of drummers are doing this kind of technique these day's. A7X's new album "Nightmare" feat. Mike Portnoy... Look at "Dangerline" At the end.

Yes indeed they are taught English in school, but that's not an effective way of learning a language. I'll give an example, I learn French, German and English in school (and Latin and Ancient Greek). My native language is closest to German out of these three but out of all the foreign languages I can speak, English is the best. Why? Not because English is easier or closer to my language, but because I have watched English spoken television since I was very young. Germans don't get English tv.

Or if you go on holiday, it's a must for the local shops and restaurants to be able to speak English. And they do! I agree -- this is not an overstatement. I have been listening to rock music for 40 years and I think Matt's talent is unparalleled.
