  • It's funny how 3 years before this conference Iran stated that it would Start Solar power in 2013. It already has wind and hydro power.

  • its people like her that will allow iran to nuke the hell out of israel. its clear what iran wants and thats the end of isreal it doesn't and an internatioanl relation

  • what an IDIOT!

muslims don't WANT TO WORK TOGETHER!!!!

  • ..... stand in front of mirror and see what a hypocrite looks like. While your at it tell the world who are the aggressors and why is it that your govs have been exploiting middle-east, Africa, central America... raping its resources so that you could stand here and tell us, US the Iranians that nuclear energy is expensive? Who are you to tell us anything. Who died and who made you the wise guys all of a sudden? Fix your tone, fix your attitude, get the hell out of ME and then we'll talk.

  • you know who gave you the technology for nuclear power? The US

  • ...and the point is?

  • rofl no u yanks just take shit of other countires and say u made them half of the us nuclear power is from iraq cuz u yanks stole them of saddam just in case there was a world war pfft which we all know would never happen u yanks are just scared and pick on little countires u panzy yanks i just hope one day some one just nukes your shit hole of a country =)

  • what country do live in?

  • since ww2 we have been the dominant power. by the way we have not raped resources we have enormous natural gas and oil reserves that are not used to keep the price of oil reasonable high. fix your tone and i would very much like to discuss.

  • So explain why is it that west is so keen to develop yet a new generation of nuclear power station, and wait upgrade its nuclear defense systems! LOL! Are U stupid or what?

Nuclear energy is the way forward. Why so much fuss over Iran's nuclear program??!! I tell you why. Whoever controls the oil taps for the next 70 years will control the world. An independent, powerful Iran derails the idea as it did temporarily in early 1950s after Iran nationalized its oil.

You want to talk to someone...

  • dennis could not negotiate a reduced price on a pile of shit..........in iowa.

  • First of all Nuclear Energy is the cleanest form of energy out there, 2nd how the heck did Kucinich hook up with her???!?!?!! HOW??

  • Nuclear energy is clean, once it's set up. But to say it's the cleanest for of energy is just plain ignorant. Solar, Wind and Hydro power are much more environmentally friendly. Uranium mining is devastating to the environment. Granted, it is obviously cleaner than oil, and produces huge amounts of power, but read the facts.

  • I think here you're making a mistake too because nuclear energy is cleaner for 1 reason, unless we're talking about 1 house-heater which we're not,the amount of energy produced by nuclear powerplants can not be produced by solar and wind, unless you install 5000 wind-generators or 3 square miles of solar panels! only oil/coal can produce more energy and they mess up the air.

  • I'm a big fan of Nuclear when considering it against fossil fuels, but it has a ton of problems associated with it. To use nuclear power responsibly is far too expensive. When you're willing to pay those kinds of prices solar is definitely the way to go (especially if you're in the middle east).

  • not to mention the nuclear waste after the rods are used up.....where do those go?

  • Toshoku maybe she is interested in more than just a shallow relationship based on appearance. And perhaps he's a dynamo in the sack. :) By the way , nuclear energy is the cleanest ? What the hell? LOL

  • Or perhaps she was looking for a senator husband. Yes nuclear is cleaner if you compare with alternative sources of high-energy (not solar/wind).

  • Ah.. well glad you gave that "caveat" then. I guess you're not interested in the fact that nuclear power takes approximately 30 years to come online, and 40 to 50 years to turn a profit, whilst "solar/wind" is available within 5 years and turns a profit within 15. "Let the market decide" does not apply to nuclear energy, apparently.

  • constructive

    ..sustain

    the globe

    ( T/Y )

  • This makes so much sense.

Elizabeth Kucinich would make a fantastic First Lady!

I'm definitely voting for Kucinich and donating Dec. 15th.

    Peace.

  • Rude comment, you are deleted

  • Yes Nuclear power is bad for environment that's why America's cities are all run by nuclear power. Hmmmm somewhere in this doesn't make sense.

It's good for us but bad for you?! Hmmmm

  • If you watch one of the prior videos where Elizabeth addresses nuclear power titled, "Elizabeth Kucinich talks about Nuclear Power," (not just nuclear power in Iran, but in general) she displays the same sentiments. She reveals the consensus among many that we are in need of shifting to more natural resources everywhere.

  • I wasn't talking about Elizabeth, I meant US nuclear complaint about Iran. One thing nobody thinks about when they talk about nuclear waste is that it's alternative would put millions of tons of pollution in the air while Nuke-plants are powerful and efficient compared to oil-run plants.

  • Blah blah blah. The same old bullshit from some pro-nuclear propagandists. Did you know that while "alternative" energy is more expensive to set up (MJ for MJ), it can be done NOW and turns a profit within 5 years? Nuclear on the other hand, from conception to implementation takes 30 years to set up, and 40 to 50 years to turn a profit. Why are people still having this argument!?

  • It's bad because of nuclear waste that we can't get rid of, (this isn't Vectorman. We can't dump it into the sun)the risk of transporting materials, the risk of pollution, and the fact that plants are huge terrorist targets.

    Let's see....slightly cheaper power...danger...

  • When it comes to producing large amounts of energy and choosing fuels to do it, there are only a choice between bad (nuclear) and worse(oil). Until someday science and technology allow us to produce enough energy to run generators that can light-up 2000 cities.

  • What about things like tidal, geothermal, and thin solar panels, etc? Nuclear is only ~slightly better than coal, but look at the long-term disadvantages. Unless we can make something like the robots from the Vectorman game that can carry waste to the sun, we'll be in trouble.

  • Waste can be easily dumped into the space, only all countries should collect their waste then combine and send to space. The way global warming and ozone depletion is going soon we can use solar panels to lightup the cities because Earth will get lot more sun after 1/3rd of atmosphere is eaten away.

  • Depressing, isn't it. Then again, dumping things in space will only cause more trouble,w hen we've raped the earth so hard we'll end up moving there.

  • According to today's CBS program about global warming, there's only 30 years left before the South pole totally melts and sea-levels rise by about 10-12 feet so we might see New York and Miami go under water thanks to the great smog-producing factories and Republican leadership who let's them do whatever they wish.

  • Solar power is wathe way forward

  • I thought Bush declared nuclear power was the essential answer to global warming? So Iran tries to get nuclear power, and therefore is a threat to America which must be destroyed. Er..? Kucinich makes such clear easy sense compared to this US administration. After DK has his his terms; if the Schwarzenegger amendment happens, Mrs K could be President:)

  • YES!! Sustain the Globe! The old ways are over! New leadership with a vision of the future, in PEACE and working towards a goal that benefits us all, sustaining the earth and working with it instead of against it!

Kucinich '08!! The only choice! :-)

  • and: what a great vision, to talk about transitioning from the brink of a global war to an impetus behind global environment change! we need this kind of leadership & hope!

  • this is fantastic! how is the kucinich campaign not getting more press????

  • This is the sad fact of our country... The media is owned by corporations, corporations stand alot to lose if Dennis Kucinich is elected president, because no special interests own him... Corporate media only has an obligation to its shareholders, profit is their biggest concern, and actual news is cut out of the loop, unless it provides the dramatic tone and a headline that will get them ratings and increase their advertising dollars...
