  • It's a leopard and not a cheetah as cheetahs have none retractable claws which do not allow them to climb trees, but this is why they can reach speeds of 60 mphs. Yes, the Asiatic cheetah is now extinct in India, but still hangs on in some of Iran's arid steppes. Anyway, where did the cheetah issue come from?

  • cheetahs lived in india in the past. even akbar the great used cheetahs to hunt.they became extinct in the 19th century(only in india)

  • yeah i went to kahna in 2006 summer. it was amazing as we actually saw a tiger eating a dead chital(Deer) thru elephant back. also saw a leopard up on a tree top.

  • well it's pretty interesting to me. I thought we would see the tiger chase the leopard up into the tree.

    Still ANY sighting of a tiger is an amazing event
