whoever sent the takedown (could be any one of a zillion copyright holders here) is NUTS. This kind of thing is good for everyone involved.

My question is: if youtube's copyright policy is true, they sent notices to rights holders of the original material based on stuff they had on record, both on the original remix and on this re-post. That means the players big enough to register their material have been informed. And thus that the original was taken down by some pissant.

@GomerJ I agree with you; at a minimum I think the uploader should post a disclaimer and a link to the originator of the mash-up.

I enjoy that the content is still available, so I can't fully condemn the poster; I just think their tactics are pretty shady. Thank-you for the information.
