  • considering that the technology we have today didn't really exist back when this movie was made i have to say i find that beast well presented. it's better than any cgi beast i've seen.

  • 7:03 This is probably the best thing i have ever seen. The way it pans out and she takes his hand and they walk. it . is. brilliant

  • @Makrishtina. The reason for her telling him to get out of her room was because for one thing she wasn't use to his presence and 2, in those times it was very improper for a man to be in a Woman's room, especially when it was at night, and the woman was in her night gown.

  • this movie is beautiful!

  • Excusez moi.... LOL!!!

  • wheres the talking teapot?

  • Wow, the Beast is really quite amazing in his costume.

  • Aaa ! Mon enfance !

  • When the beast drank from belle's hands he looked kinda... adorable... then he looked up... :/

  • 3:26 Did Beast just grope that statue??

  • 1:47 CREEPY STATUE D: !!!

  • Belle, what is wrong with you?! When a guy says he wanted to give you a gift, and random jewelry falls into his hand, you don't tell him to get out!!!!! Why was she angry? And why was he smoking? I never understand those parts of the film. Was it improper for him to be in that bedroom? Like an invasion of privacy? And was he smoking because of something to do with Belle?

  • @MsKrishtina

The smoking of the Beast's hands is because he killed a deer. Whenever the Beast kills, his hands will smoke and he will be ashamed when a maiden is staying at his castle. Check out the beginning of part 1 for a recap of that.

  • Belle dresses as a Greek goddess.

  • aw beast is so cute like a big kitty

  • yes , bette is a vegetable, with two ts, but bête is the beast

  • "Does it repulse you that I drink from your hands?"

"No, Beast.....I like it!"......Do I detect a sexual fetish here?!

  • what do the sisters see when they look through the mirror?

  • I wonder if any of the costumes from this movie are still around--maybe in a museum? They are incredible.

  • This shit's getting deeeeeeeeeeep! Hahah but I'm seriously in love with this. <3

  • that beast really knows how to dress

  • Beast: "It doesn't repulse you when I drink from your hands?"

Belle: "Heck, no. I always wanted a pet!"

  • he was guna kill her till he relized...its ben awhile!lol...i love this movie never seen it till now!its amazing how she is so intrigued by him!

  • I like how everything is so carefully done and refined. They could not correct things with computers and special effects at the time, so they had to take special care of getting everything right the first time around.

  • one of the best movies I've ever watched in French class. It took me a bit of time to adjust to the fact that instead of a candle and a clock, there's dismembered body parts all over the castle. An arm here, a torso there and others lmoa

  • "Bonjour, Belle. Je suis La Massage Chair."

  • her eyebrows are amazing in that close up,

  • @morchie717 - I was thinking the same thing. I'm totally into old black & white movies & I'm in love w/ how they used to do their eyebrows & make-up. The thin arched eyebrows of Jean Harlow or Claudette Colbert in "Cleopatra" were beyond gorgeous & just to die for. Women of that era were beautiful (face & body) even w/o make-up & nothing like the ugly plastic filled men & women of today. 8:08 pm Sept. 5 2010

  • all you have to do is switch from 350p to 480p and it stretches out

  • @xxReavaxx omg THANK YOU!!

  • The part where she lets him drink from her hands is so touching. =') And that look in his eyes when he says, "It doesn't repulse you to let me drink from your hands?"...how could you possibly NOT fall in love with La Bête just then?

  • 6:30, LMAO at his ears.

  • I want me some of dat smokity smoke!

  • Um, way to be a creeper in her. I would tell him to get out too.

  • haha what WAS he doing in there? trying to get some eh beast? hahah love it

  • I can't help but wonder if he uses his tongue to drink like my dog...hahaha. :)

  • Ahaha! Beast drinking water is, probably unintentionally, hilarious. I heard the sound and I thought, "No, he wouldn't..." But then, there he was! *snort*

  • For one of the parts, it became un-compressed/strange when I chose the HD version....but they don't all have that option. Is there any way to upload the file with it? I would really love to watch the rest of this movie, it's so wonderful!

  • Could you please reupload this section? It's in the compressed strip like the first part.

  • omg i don't know why this keeps happening, i'll do it asap

  • AHAHA!

  • Well, she said in French, "It pleases me," which doesn't sound quite so contrite. And, to be fair, there's not a lot of other ways she could have nicely answered the question.

  • i was joking...don't be so stiff about it..

  • @rebdominer42099 lol well she could have also said that she didn't mind or that it didnt bother her.

  • my french class and i found it funny when his ears perk up when he hears the deer.

  • lol! he had the very first cctv!

  • read the subtitles. if he mauls somebody his hands smoke

  • ne pouvez-vous regarder une oeuvre dans son entièreté ?!! /can't you look at a work in his entirety?!!

  • On second thought maybe it IS horniness..

Did you notice how he groped that statue on his way out down the hallway? :o

  • Lol...but wasn't there something in the beginning that said if a beast killed it's hands would smoke..?

  • @evoke44

    And he would be ashamed.

  • Yes very well noticed! :))

  • LOL. I'd like to believe it's horniness but it's probably just a side effect of the curse

  • la Belle et la Bête means Beauty and the Beast in French.

  • No shit Sherlock

  • LA BELLE ET LA BETTE.

The beast thinks, he is great; I am fond of the beast, yes I say to my father I sort of, kind of like him. Well, you see, he is not bad.

    Comment allez vous la bette?

  • Joli film! Mes grands-parents l'aimaient a la folie...Sebastien Dupratil
