Unfortunately, there is NO English translation for either of the TotW Narakiri Dungeon games! So if you want to play any of them you have to deal with the Japanese language or hunt on the 'Net and see if you can find a/some dedicated fans that completed an English fan-translation!

@Yohko86 Shut up... I know for a fact that there are English patches for both those games, both about 60% done. It's not brilliant, but all the menus and important bits of text are in total English, including the intros. I know because I've played them both. I can't actually find the Narikiri Dungeon 2 patch anymore, just an old version with everything but the storyline translated, but there was a much better one with the story and everything in English.

@NingyoAijin When I meant by "there was no English translation", I meant that there was no OFFICIAL one. That's why I told the person the he/she had to search the 'Net for a fan-translation English patch and, as you've said already, the one's he/she are most likely to find aren't finished (and have been stalled for over 2 years so there's no telling when or if they'll be finished).

Just in case there's somebody who doesn't know yet, the English patch has been recently updated. All text in the main plot has been translated. Some other text has been translated, but not all of it. Also, skill names have been changed. (Example: Majinken is now Demon Fang.)

Dang, i beat this game back in September and I have to say, This is the BEST Tales game that will probably ever come out for a handheld. I wasted like, 190 hours on this game.

I still wish I could understand those completely pointless convos tho lol

I know this is an old comment but, just in case you don't know, their is a game called Tales of the World Radiant Mythology for the PSP

Yeah, I didn't even get halfway through that game, I just returned it and left.

IMO That game literally ruined the whole Tales series. I had high expectations for that game (still have mid-level expectations for #2) but it failed so hard it's not even funny. Narikiri Dungeon > Radiant Mythologay

This is as "English" as you can get it for now. Kajitani-Eizan's patch hasn't been updated since 2004. I know a few people who said they were working on it, but, heh, this is the emu community we're talking about here.

Yeah, and in the sthird Narikiri dungeon you can play as the antagonists from the 5 Tales featured there, those would be Dhaos, Barbatos, Shizel, Elraine and Yggdrasil... you can also play as Valkyrie and Celcius ^^
