I have this phone and I have to say Its one of the most infuriating devices I have ever used. The operating system is what lets it down - ITS ANNOYING TO THE POINT OF HELL. Why Ow why did Nokia make opening an app so damn confusing. There are 3 ways to search the internet and when you FINALLY hook up you are greeted with speeds that resemble a shopping mall on OAP sale day.The only thing I like are the sound quality and camera - Everything else is absolute trash. 2 year contract and Ripped off.

i have bought this phone today, and it doesnt impress me at all ..... i thought it gonna give me a thumbs up , but its not ... when i bought it, there is no trial or even seeing what applications inside and if the phone is really nice..... absolutely a bad NOKIA handset.... video is very poor where u can see some lines in the image and its not clear, even picture , its like u are just using a VGA camera in a phone ... and the image color is not good.

I want to know, i know the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic plays GREAT music, but does the X6 play the same/better? If it doesn't, i'm buying the 5800 no matter what. I don't care it has double memory and shit, the 5800 is cheap as hell and great. I'd buy an iphone, but damn you need to pay to do the half from its abilities!

moreover, although there is a 3.5 mp camera with flash in 5800 it gives worst pictures anytime,but X6 gives fabulous pictures even in low light conditions.

I have both used 5800 and iphone 3gs there is a huge diffrence. iphone is much faster, less annoying, easier to use. I can't see a much diffrence between x6 and 5800. this looks laggy and slow too. it looks like there's nokias more advanced than iphones in harware but in reality it's not.

I just want to point out a few things that she missed, the centre button is the multitasking button hold it down and your open apps will apear (yes just like the iphone but nokia has had this since the 5800 came out back in early 2009). Also the red dots and the pause are a theme effect what can bee switched of, this removes the delay. Also the 5800 has the better touch screen as it will react to anything that touches it so no removing your gloves in the winter like the X6.

iv also been using nokia my whole life and they WERE always reliable. But sadly nokia is out dated and they seriously need to look at the possibilities they have to produce awsome phones. Just take a look at the best cellular communication devices (haha big words) like HTC.

No way is the touch screen improved sometimes it's unresponsive and you have to touch it 3 or 4 times. Does anyone know how to get MSN messenger to work with this? When clicking on the app, it just opens the internet and asks if you want to download the latest version. Downloaded the latest version and it still goes back to internet and asks again if you want to download latest version.

5800 did not suport Kinetic Scrolling with it`s first software.. now it have it in Contacts, Gallery, Music and Web Browser.. just like 5530 and x6.. only thing I would like now is a 5-6 page app homescreen with kinetic scrolling.. just like the voyager vmenu app on s60v5 but with out the bugs then you turn off the phone or change themes....

symbian s60v5 touch is the most user friendly UI I had on any phone I owned.. and they all say it works great on samsung omnia hd.. I would not chang my nokia 5530 menu with what samsung jet use.. jet is so slow.. and is missing a lot of apps I need.. cant costume samsungs menu like nokia menu..

I have 5530 but I want to update from 2.9 wide screen to non wide 3.2 capasative screen and android 2.1.. x6 wide 3.2 is smaller than 3.2 screen on spica.. like 32 4:3 tv is larger than 32 16:9 tv..

they make 2 X6 phones.. one expensive 32gb version with comes with music suport for a year.. (free unlimited download of music for a year) the cheap X6 is 16gb and with no comes with music service... x6 16gb is about 50$ more than 5800 in norway.. well worth it I say... no phones in it`s price class that can beat it...

I had the Samsung Jet for 2 days.

The interface was nice.

But, it was SO SLOW! if you put a widget on the home screen, and tried to sign into something through it, you'd have to wait half a second before the screen would vibrate, letting you know your tap had registered.

And, I really don't understand how the web browser could be so slow when it's based on the same frame as Apple's mobile Safari. ;D

I got the Nokia 5800 instead, it's a better overall phone, just doesn't look as nice. :(
