Just been reading about this crash in this week's Autosport. Apparently Fontana broke a vertebra which, of course, cost him his F1 race seat at Sauber for 1996. Peter Sauber had even asked him not to race at Macau because it was dangerous! D'oh!
it wasn't 1997...? when Fontana was fired for Sauber adn he run in F3000 in 99, CART 2000, F3000 in 2001; in 2002 returned to Argentina an wins TC2000 championship with a Toyota and in 2005 wins TC championship with a Dogde

I like Trulli, but I hace to admit that he wasn't fair on Schumacher at all. This deserved a penalty for sure.
