Yeah - her and Kureno aren't shown in the anime. Bu Rin's the horse and Kureon's the rooster/bird. I think they were going to put them both in the next season of the anime but they never made a second season. So people who've only watched the anime wouldn't know who Rin or Kureno are - so that's why you can't remember her :)
