Let me tell you something BanjoOz, dont let it fool you this one was awful! From Mel, the most annoying companion in my opinion, to the drab sets, this is Doctor Who at its worst. In fact, the first season of the 7th Doctor was bad. Fortunately, McCoys era got better, however the ratings would never recover.

It looks good I like the rani and I want both of her episodes on DVD. I know Mark of the Rani is out niow but I want this one maybe they could realise it in the Rani Collection.

Terrible opening story for McCoy's Doctor. Not least of all is Kate O' Mara's cringe worthy imitation of Bonnie Lanford's Mel. Which is a shame because for the most part I liked her as the Rani.

"someone would only kidnap him if they needed his help"...actually I was about to snark at that line, but if you think about it, 9 times out of 10 he does end up helping them, changing their ways, making them better etc. finding out what made them angry and righting it as best as he can...a rare moment of lucidity for Mel, or just really bad writing that is only justifiable by a mad fan? Meh.

@crazzzymann1 nope my opinions have now changed the worst doctor who story ever is victory of the daleks for what has happened to the most iconic doctor who villain.

the episode imo was horrendoes aswell and the daleks are now totally unthreatening.

@GlennPiper That least the new Daleks are still Daleks unlike that awful Dalek story in series 3 I mean what was the writer of that story thinking! turning Daleks in Human hybrids! we that least there was only one Dalek that got turned into a Human hybrid Dalek which was Dalek Sec.
