No, he plays "Sportacus" on the series. He's the creator, producer and sometimes director on the series too. His relationship with Julianna is strictly professional and (I assume) there is a great friendship between then for all the years working together. That's all.

do you know what the original Lazytown is called?... was it hungarian? i cant remember but all i remember was that in its name was an AE type letter... welll in lowercase ae all i remember is that and that it has real people and not dolls and puppets

It's icelandic and originally was called as "Latibær" (LazyTown in icelandic) and only real people took place on the known roles.

@leetfeetman Again, it's an icelandic show (produced and made on Iceland, 2004-2006) and it was based on a previous icelandic plays and books simply called "Latibær" (LazyTown in icelandic). The international TV series was called "LazyTown" and it sounds like that not only for american people but for the rest of the world too.
