i hate this black and white shit. my planned parenthood experience was amazing and i got an hour of counseling. where we discussed my options. the cpc i went to before PP were rude and very judgmental. but this is MY PERSONAL experience and not all pp or cpc are the same. Life is not black in white and the subject of abortion isn't either a 13 year old who didn't know about condoms & a 16 year old who did but chose not to use them are NOT the same situation prochoice all the way

CPC's should be shut down and considering that almost all of them operate under umbrella operations that follow the same deceptive tactics I think it's pretty fair to say that these places are fake clinics that give out false and misleading information for the sole purpose of manipulating girls. How many Planned Parenthoods offer help through an adoption or have actually provided diapers to a woman who chooses to give a baby? Abortion advocates like these really have no basis in reality.
a group called "cpc watch" offers really great information on cpcs including actual testimonials from women who have visited cpcs, locations and warning signs of cpcs, and many comprehensive resources. worth checking out!
CPC's range in the services they offer. Giving the worst example and expanding it to all CPC's is dishonest. If a good CPC helps you, they support you through the entire prengnancy, help you to be aware of life affirming options, provide transportation, get the community involved (usually hold community baby showers), and can find you interim housing if housing is a problem.
While I don't deny that there have been efforts by the government and others to deny women of color the same reproductive freedoms as white women, that is not the main goal of CPCs.
CPCs do offer more than a teddy bear and a lolly like misinformation about contraception, a prayer to make it all better, and some diapers for good luck. A gift hardly helps women bear the responsibility of raising a child. I would like to hear them argue for free healthcare and childcare. That would be the day!

CPC's cannot be trusted! They advocate ABSTINENCE. Abstinence is the plague that robs this nation of precious potential children, who I'm sure could be given to loving couples who could not concieve. True, CPC's are opposed to birth control, making conception more likely if you break away from abstinence, but that's no excuse. They cannot understand the pain of a woman or girl who knows that she lost an egg that was not fertilized and could have been a child! Those poor women are haunted!
