I dont usually like Waits covers. Never anywhere close to the original masterpieces. But I like this one because of James has an interesting and different take on it, whereas most Waits covers are less interesting and more accessible. There is something to be said about Waits's sublety that James is completely lacking in his interpretation. But overall this is one of the better covers I've heard.
