I've been playing Bass Guitar for about 6 yrs now. Most of that time has been Listening and Playing to RHCP Songs. 3 yrs in I thought i needed Theory and went to Music College for a Year. To me, Theory is just Labels to things i already discovered myself in my room. Like i didn't know that what i was playing was a Minor Pentatonic, i just knew from constant repetition that those collection of notes, sound and work in a certain way to other note shapes i picked up.
