Could you tell me how you got your joystick working? I have Saitek AV8R-01 and Trackmania wont recognise the movements of the joystick (or any of the buttons) as input for the controls. Also I don't see anywhere that I can switch from using keyboard to Joystick.

When it comes to Stadium, there's just a rare few to use it. Most well known player using a Joystick is the Czech player 'Toni'. He's a top player who's been at many ESWC's so far. Search youtube for 'Toni Trackmania' and you'll find a video of him at the ESWC Masters 2008. At the ESWC Grand Finals 2008 I sat next to him in 1 match and he certainly doesn't move the stick as relaxed as you do :P. Table is shaking and he really puts force in it.
i bet he only start a video at fullscreen and only act like hes playing it :D

playing with joystick is great when u want more precision
I did my 18.46 on A03 with exactly same joytick as ur
and i don't know to do a .53 cp without joystick

In United enviroments it's alot more common.

Fascinating! I might do a video response showing me playing with a keyboard vs gamepad when I have time.
I'm pretty sure Zooz (#4 in LP in the world) uses a joystick as well.
