Thanks for the Lyrics, but I think it's "Countless surprises are greeting your eyes" and I thought it was "Up where you fell there's nothing but fact", But it appears you were correct in that bit.
Best description of the Muppets' madcap storytelling ever! I'd LOVE to see them put on a production of a musical like "Grease" or "Hello Dolly", they're likely to meet up with Audrey Two or the Phantom of the Opera and sing "Seasons of Love" from RENT!
What are they saying at 2:02 to about 2:05? All I'm hearing is "Blah blah blah something Cheshire Cat." And I think something about flamingos.
Other than the I LOVE this song, especially Dr. Teeth as the cat, they never explain in-show how they stuffed his long arms into those sleeves. (I know it's just Dr. Teeth's head on a cat body, but they could have made Dr. Teeth comment on the how he had to stuff his 3 1/2 foot long arms in there or something like that!)
I especially love the nasty attitude he gives him! "Look, either you tell me where the rabbit hole is or I tear your head off!" Echoes of the Ideal Muppet Toys commercial, perhaps?
I like this scene/episode and I hope it comes to DVD soon . . . but I think it sounds more like "Up where you fell from there's nothing LIKE THAT".

@NaiTaiDai Hedgehogs are tricky to make by hand because of their shape and their spikes. Also, when would they ever use a hedgehog puppet again?

What a fantastical, feathery feeling
(I'm falling!)
Slowly revolving and spinning and reeling
(I'm falling!)

Curious creatures with curious features appear and fade
Counts and surprises are greeting your eyes
There's a jar of orange marmalade
(Hi there! We're having a jam session, want to sit in?)
Hey there Miss Alice, if you're near the palace, just drop in
(I'm quite good at dropping, I've been practicing a long time now)
If you're really racing that rabbit you're chasing, get hopping
(I don't think a person can hop and drop at the same time)

Watching flamingos and old Cheshire Cat (yeah!)
Up where you fell, bet there's nothing like that!
You're in for adventure as soon as you've finished your falling!
(That's the part I seem to be worried about,
I seem to have mastered falling, but how good am I at landing?)
There's a footman with a face like a fish's
And a Duchess with a cook who keeps breaking the dishes
A Caterpillar on a mushroom and smoking a hookah
Hookah! Hookah! Hooka-la Hookah!
(That's very bad for your health you know.)

A teapot that has a mouse in it
Things get madder and madder by the minute!
(Curiouser and curiouser is the expression I believe!)
Wait til the scene where the crazy old Queen wants your head off
(Why worry about her? With any luck, I won't survive the fall)
Feels like you're bound to a merry go round you can't get off
Don't be surprised if you meet Captain Hook
'Cuz our version won't always follow the book!
Get set for adventure as soon as you've finished your falling!

Why did they use one of those green birds for the verse with the flamingo? Couldn't they have made a hedgehog puppet?

Brooke Shields was the youngest guest to ever appear on The Muppet Show. I believe she was not quite 18 at the time.
