The lack of a 1080p button does not affect the audio quality as the audio in all my videos is of the highest quality. The [HQ] is high quality audio, not video.

Faster loading & the same awesome quality as 1080p & still people complain. People think they're ears are more finely tuned than they actually seem to be.

The audio rate of 720p and 1080p should be about 152 kbps AAC where 480p and 360p have only about 128 kbps AAC.

However, when this video was uploaded it would have been 128 kbps AAC for the 720p and 1080p while the 480p and 360p only had 96kbps AAC... (240p is still and has been for those times, 60kbps MP3).

It is a common misconception the quality selection has only an effect on the video. One who switches from 240p to for example 480p, can clearly hear an undeniable difference.

if people truly do listen to the audio quality, you can tell that when some videos say "SONG HD"

its actually the video background thats HD and the audio is still set to like 360p.

because some uploaders dont even realise the audio quality will not increase no matter what output you set the video at if the audio it self it limited to around 128kbps

There is actually a difference in quality when videos are played at 720p. The audio quality is capped at 128kbps at 480p, and at 720p and up, it's 152kbps. It makes a difference.
