Cool Video Bruce. That Tar seep at 4:38 is Neat. I've been to Placerita Canyon to see the falls,pretty much dry though. That canyon is nice and quiet I didnt see a soul when I was there. Looked like a nice day,I like walking in the rain. That Red Tail was Beautiful,I never checked out the visitor center before.

Do you know about the Tar pits near that are in Newhall? My brother went there so I dont know the name of the place. His pictures of it looked pretty cool.

As for the waterfalls in Placerita, I'll bet there's water in them right now. I'm guessing you have to be there at the right time of year. There was a pretty good flow in the stream.

@bapyou I was looking around here on youtube and found it in Towsley Canyon near Santa Clarita .

@davidsquall351 Hi David. Yeah ... I looked at that video. Definitely would like to see that tar pit. I hiked in Towsley Canyon several years ago. I think it's in Ed Davis Park. The thing is, it's a big area, and I don't remember seeing a tar pit; I would remember if I did. I'll try contacting the woman who made that video ... see if I can't get a little more definite direction to the tar pit.
